Better today. Few moments where he should have caught the ball but opted to punch for some reason.

But he made a few important saves when he was needed.

Lucky none of those shots today were knuckle balls or we'd have been *.

BRENDAN RODGERS has revealed Dorus de Vries could leave Celtic this summer.

The 37-year-old Dutch goalkeeper missed the Hoops’ Austrian training camp due to a coaching course with the Welsh FA.

De Vries is behind Craig Gordon and Scott Bain in the pecking order and could move on.

Rodgers said: “Dorus is going into the final year of his contract. We’ve spoken about his situation.

“There are goalkeepers ahead of him but he can still be around helping the young keepers.

    “Dorus is a good guy.

“He was brought in for a purpose and he has served that purpose.

“With a year to go he has to decide to play and later move into coaching, or go down that route.”

    Another waste of a signing.

Disagree, hasn’t worked out as well as it should but we needed him when he signed.

Bit of an understatement lol, he was supposed to take over from Gordon as the no1, Brendan waxed lyrical about the guy on his arrival, still not as bad a signing as big Marvin though ? :67:

He did take over from Gordon, then had his confidence shat on the Camp Nou and never recovered.

De Vries was never good enough. * all to do with his confidence being shattered.

Easily the worst keeper I’ve seen at Celtic. Arms like a T-Rex.

Cheers Mystic Meg, if you could drop Rodgers a text next time you’ve seen how a potential player will turn out that’ll save us a fortune :56:

I don't think even he himself ever felt that confident as our no1 GK tbh.

Happy with Bain as back-up to Gordon.

Any goalkeeper who comes in to replace De Vries will be a third choice goalkeeper; don’t kid yourself.

    Gordon - Bain - Hazard

Can't see another keeper coming in.

No chance of a goalie coming in this summer to challenge Gordon or Bain, why would we try and bring someone in when Gordon still has 2 years left of a very handsome deal and Bain just signed a new 4 year deal?? Gordon for all his faults is the Celtic and Scottish no 1 goalie and bain is a very able back up I don't see Celtic targeting a keeper to 2020 tbh injuries permitting.

Some people go on about getting to the next level in Europe, maybe BR wants that too but the board are happy just to get to the UCL group stages and that's it you can see that from the transfer window in January past and currently we haven't signed any new players (Morgan was signed in Jan) so for me we have our level and that's SPFL and if anything happens in Europe its a bonus to our board but they have did well to get Rogic and Eddie on long term deals as well as Ajer and KT.

Still canny believe the goal Coulibaly from Kilmarnock scored against him, * basically hit the shot from the Turnstiles Bar on London road :56:

Thank * for that, he needs to be a contender for our worst goalkeeper in history.
