Sign him to a 12 year contract, keep him until 10 in a row, then loan him out to the best teams in Europe for 3/4 seasons for £10million a season to let him win Champions Leagues then come back to us for 15 in a row captaining us through to 20 in a row where he retires and passes the armband on to one of Leigh Griffiths or Scott Browns sons :brendy:

Read all thier post there ,i actually appreciate their banter ,they know their stuff and biggest majority are buzzing about being linked with kt ,we know why that is ,he is the single most gifted player we have seen in decades and the potential with him is massive ,cant see it happening though ,while he is loving it here and playing for the love and not money it has to be admired ,he will be well looked after by the club for his love and loyalty in time ,wot an amazing thing to have ,a player with love and passion un coruppted by greed ,it reminds me of the film wae michael douglas demi moor aston cutcher ,where rich guy is trying to buy the love of your life .

A thought crossed my mind tonight. What if all the silly money around transfers had been around during the Lisbon lions time? Would we have been able to hold on to a team of gifted players? It's a sobering thought. We might have done what we seem to be doing today.... selling off our best players or considering it when someone waves big money at us. In different times we might never have won the big cup. Which makes me think it's highly unlikely that we will ever win it again! We've seen them come and go in the last few seasons. They Victors and VVD type of players. Where does it stop.

We might still clean up domestically ,But no chance of progressing as a team on the whole and say getting out the groups in Europe if we keep selling the best instead of building the team.

Look at the Brazil world cup squads pre 1990. They pretty much all played in Brazil. Today we would be lucky to keep even 1 or 2 of the lions. Big jock would have been tapped earlier too.

He's going nowhere....Hes a Tim and one for life.

If he gets pushed out over money ,then * the board.

We cant keep selling our best players ALL the time....some we bite the bullet and keep.

£30/35 million and we'll talk. Even then it's Tierney's decision at this point.

Yeah starting to be reported all over Twitter that he has agreed personal terms.

If he leaves us now and for Everton I will hate him forever. Everything he has said, like he wants to be here long term and be captain us the to jump ship as soon as some mid table English team come in for him

I hope it's all fake new, wouldn't be the first time the papers have chatted *.

I also hope he hasn't been forced out by the board for the money

If he goes to Everton he goes there not for the team but to be shop windowed again for a season to negotiate a move to a top 4 EPL or top 4 Spanish team.

From a career perspective he gets to experience playing in the ,love it or hate it, the league with the best international players, week in and out...he may get a VVD type move and become a 50+ million player and possibly win a CL trophy at a man utd etc. Celtic bank big money on a sale and subsequent sales, Tierney possibly reaches the potential we all think he can. Everyone (except the fans) win.

From a completely emotional standpoint however, he will remain a Celtic player because his heart is here. He'll be adored, he'll be a club captain one day and possibly go down as one of the greats at Celtic.

It's an incredibly tough decision for him if the club makes him really consider his options. i would love for him to show his full potential against stronger opposition at a Man utd or a madrid and show that Celtic developed whats looking like one of the most gifted left backs we've seen in years. Its inevitable that itl happen sooner than later as I can't see the club turning down 20mill+ for one player.

Some guy on the DR podcast also claiming the deal is nearly done, just to agree terms of the payment.

Unless there was a £25m release clause no-one knew about then I think Celtic have sold themselves short, better players than Kieran have left us but this would be a very sore one as I cant remember the last player to have a bond with the fans as Kieran has.

I would laugh if something is behind this and his da came out and said it like it is, the club could come out looking very bad tbh, as I don't think he would be pushing for a move if he does go I am calling he was forced by the fee we could receive!
