The main pressure though would be the big piles of cash offered to you on a plate "we'll give you £5million for signing the contract up front, we'll give you £90k a week basic with an additional £10k every game you pay, £25k every European game you play, £50k every Cup semi you play and £100k for every Cup final..... you are guarenteed £29million over the course of the 5 year contract but could earn up to £40million with bonuses".

You weigh that up, playing Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City every few weeks with the chance one of them will then come in and give you £150k a week and £10million to join them if you do well.

To staying with Celtic, Danny McGrain, Tommy Burns and Paul McStay would be charging down to England with a pen in their hand before thinking twice.

The money's too big to turn down that your family would be thinking of getting you sectioned if you did.

You never know though, once the offer is actually there you'd start to panic. Look at that Odubajo - 2 years ago he probably though he was set for life, a future EPL player - probably worth £20million near guarenteed to be earning £40-50k+ by signing a new contract and playing the rest of his days in the EPL - bang, knee done * for 2 year and now hes having to prove himself again at Championship/Celtic level before he will see the big money.

 

So no McGinn and KT's going nowhere..
