    I mean, it wasn't directly aimed at the older guys in among the standing section, there are plenty of younger folk up the back there that just stand about and add next to nothing to the atmosphere. Hopefully we'll see the standing section expanded and get a few more mental folk in about the place.

    Mentioning it and celebrating it isnMt what annoys me. It’s them thinking it’s reborn and guarenteed everybfucking tournament after a half decent game.

    It’ll be like us going into hype mode and thinking we’re going to win the Champions League and we’re every bit as good as the Lisbon Lions if we belt this Armenian (or whatever the * they are) mob.

    It was actually an investment in spectator safety given the amount of people that stand at games in seated sections.

    I understand why many think it’s point was to create a jumping atmosphere but it’s naive to think that this was the reason. The club have already shown their feelings towards lateral movement, pyro and the like that these type of sections are full of on the continent.
