Sems to be worth a look and hopefully if we take the risk we will be rewarded. If signed hopefully the contract is to be reviewed once he has shown he won't be susceptible to dodgy knee/s, am sure we will have learned from Comperr, so if it happens again we can release him.

Don't wanna get carried away but if he's over his injury then sounds promising.

Weird that. Literally every single other person I’ve seen talking about him has said he’s a fantastic talent and, if he stays fit, he’d be an absolute bargain for us.

How dare we have a look at this guy in training?! Especially when our two main RBs are away at the World Cup

nothing wrong with taking players on trial , theres a good few i wish we had took on trial over the years

the massive bonus is that hull fans are dissapointed hes left , its really a no lose situtation in taking a look at him , its only friendlies so if he cant look good in games that dont matter i assume he wont be signed

If he didn't get injured, no doubt we wouldn't have been able to get him over for a trial and he'd most likely be playing in the EPL for someone..

It's a win win. Comes in and impresses. We've won a watch..

Comes in and has a few niggles and isn't what we'd hoped. Guaranteed we'll make a healthy profit for him back in England..

Read that we're just in talks and he's no on trial, whilst sitting in his training gear on a bench on our summer tour :56:

Every signing comes with a risk regardless of fee ,if he never had an injury we would probably be not able to attract him in terms of fee given the way his career was going at least Brendan knows we need a right back.

This guy was a £20m+ player pre injury. Star player for the promoted Hull team. Scored in the play off final (like another English player we know). The whole “second chance” thing is risky but has worked for us over the years.

It’s not like he’s still injured either, he’s been fit since March and not been getting a game because of weird circumstances behind the scenes at Hull. Most of their fans and journo’s are surprised to see him turn down a deal and all sound pretty gutted.

This fascination with spending £5m in every position because “we huv ra money” is ludicrous. As we’ve seen with Edouard, if the money needs to be spent to get the player Rodgers wants, it will be.

We are really strong down the left hand side with Tierney and either Sinclair,McGregor or Edouard coming in there at various times ..down the right side we only really have forrest who can turn it on now and again.

Hull City’s owners (Allam family) are well known to locals that they are very tight when it comes to paying money out..Ehab Allam runs that club with a rod of iron, hence all the protests by supporters and the crowds less than half what they were

Even if we don’t sign him, it’s promising that we’re targeting right backs.

He doesnae look like much of a RB to me, more a winger or at best a wing back.

Could be wrong through, probably going by the photos it'll be Lee Congerton who's found this one and started the ball rolling early.

Hope it's one of those gems of a signing.

His positioning can be worked on..

He's the kinda specimen and player that Brendan was hoping Ralston would/will progress to..

It's been two seasons though. It's a massive gamble which we shouldn't be taking when we need a starting right back.

Both knees done, I thought it was just the same knee twice. That makes it even more of a gamble with both knees.

Why don't we spend some cash on a bit of a quality who hasn't had to have both knees rebuilt.

It would be more of a gamble if it were a recurring injury.

Larsson snapped his leg and went on to become world class.
