Gamboa played very well today. Not sure what he has done to Rodgers. To think Ralston got a game in front of this lad is a joke

 

You do wonder is there something off the field behind the scenes so to speak that is responsible for Gamboa's lack of game time especially last season as he is a pretty good player IMHO.

 

Stuart Pearce slaughtered him on talksport commentary. Luckily his sidekick at the time highlighted his lack of game time these past few years.

 

We should cut our losses and let him go now .

With a bit of game time we’ll see the best of him, he’s still got his speed and he offers a lot going forward which is what we need when we play Scottish sides that sit back

 

probably costa ricas best player yesterday, dealt with neymar pretty comfortably and was always a threat with his pace.
He isn't keen on the physical part of the game, which is pretty much all we have in scotland. He would do well in spanish football probably.

 

Looked good on the highlights last night, apart from that horror touch that almost gifted Neymar a goal.

 

People need to understand any chances Costa Rica created yesterday came from Gamboa running down to the right wing and getting balls in to the box. He deserves a chance with us. Other players who continually play poorly seem to get chances under Rodgers. Something is not right with Rodgers and his take on Gamboa.

Yes there is something wrong, it goes back to when he was first signed. He was signed and expected to play in our early season start; champs league qualifiers. The problem was Cost Rica were to play in The Gold Cup. He chose to go play with Costa Rica in that instead of the champs league qualifiers rendering him dead to Brendan Rodgers...

 

He should know how to read his game & play him then.

 

thought he done well,cliche I know but think hes a decent player,might get couple mill for him maybe 2mill. epl experience,decent world cup,european experience,over 70 caps,still only 28.hopefully another good showing in last game.

 

I wouldn’t sell him there’s a good player there and even 2M for this guy on today’s market is nothing, he had the most expensive player in his pocket fs give him a chance and then see if he’s up to it

 

I really hope he gets a chance, think he could be great for us.

Same here...something about the lad I just like.

In the league he's always done reasonably well for us.

 

Announce Gamboa new 6 year deal.
