Maybe it’s just me but I really think Armstrong is a far better player than the likes of James McCarthy who has more than held his own in the epl for a good few years now

 

Listening to Brendan’s comments I don’t think a CH is his priority this window

Agree, if boyota has a good World Cup his stock will rise and hes playing in a good team with quality players around him so chances are he will and by his reaction he sounds like he will be off so could cash in on that
That’s why I was so pleased with big Tam signing he could have waited till after World Cup but he didn’t which is highly commendable

Good business, we have better players than him from the start in Ntcham and Rogic, but we must replace him in the squad, likely with Mcginn.

To be fair, most of them hardly played for us last season. We are probably stronger now than we were in January as Edouard rapidly progressed, McGregor, Ntcham, Ajer and Boyata progressed and we became more settled into a newer formation that really suited most of our players plus we have added a better back-up keeper and Hendry and Morgan.

 

£7m is a good bit of business. I feel we're too keen on holding on to players sometimes. That money could be reinvested on someone who can play every week at RB, CB, wing or even competition for Rogic.

 

Can count Morgan as a 1 in but yes it's not enough. I can see Hayes going soon too.

 

I don't fancy McGinn to replace him for 4-5m ffsk we got Ntcham for that , I'd go for another quality mid from elsewhere and a winger to replace roberts , right back and centre back and were good to go.
