Tam Rogic

Discussion in 'Ex Players' started by Heisenberg, Jan 17, 2013.

  1. Oh yeah you are right! No suprose I got it wrong, only really noticed Kruse when he came off late in the second half :56:

  2. Leckie was the best player on the pitch, put in a power of work and setup most of Oz's best moments. Denmark couldn't handle his speed and power, he's an incredible athlete.

    Clearly MOTM.

Arzani is seriously special. Make's Rogic look like Francis Jeffers. He's the youngest player at the world cup.

No chance of getting him though, City football group will be transferring him to Man City, will probably get loaned out and sold. Potential loan target though.

He's the best Aussie prospect since Kewell by a long long way, he'll be a 30-40m player inside of 4 years.

  3. Does he *.

  5. Chill bro, youngest aye, but he's near 20, the boy is a month younger than Mbappe for a bit of perspective.

He has a long way until he's at Rogic's level, never mind a 40m quid player.

  9. His posting history suggests he's just an ignorant Aussie, actually.

  10. Francis Jeffers :56:

  11. Thinks Arzani will be world class inside 4 year. Doesn't rate Rogic and knows who Franny Jeffers even is? :56:

The whole of England doesn't even remember that *..

That's plenty for me this morning..

  12. Who said I don't rate Rogic? He's one of our best players, don't get the sarcasm?

I've seen pretty much every single game he's played in the hoops and un like most on here, I saw him as a teenager. I was one of the first to come on here a spruik him in 2013 when you first signed him.

Arzani is in a completely different league though, that's no slight on Tom though, as I said, he's the best young player we've produced in 2 decades.

  13. No doubt he's got a long way to go, it's a prediction.

To be fair, he probably doesn't have as far as you think to reach Rogic's level, which is what? A very good player at SPL level, who is unproven at this stage at CL level and has under performed at international level against the top teams.

Fair chance he follows Van Bommel to PSV after the WC in some form, either a loan from city group or a sale.

  14. To slightly moderate...

Arzani is this year's Rogic. As we were super excited about Rogic's potential in about 2013, Aussies are now super excited about Arzani. He has amazing skill and unbelievable vision for his age, but has only played 10 A-League games and a handful of international minutes.

He has a long way to go but there is reason to be excited. He won't qualify for a British work permit for at least another year so is likely to wind up in Belgium or Holland in the short term.

  15. I must've missed the sarcasm in amongst you spunking your load on Leckie and then ridiculously on Arzani..

I've actually seen a fair bit of the A League on BT on early morning weekends and go back through player suggestions when he was out of contract or about to be..

He's a good player and prospect. He is and never will be as good as you're championing though. Rogic is levels above him and the likelihood is, Arzani won't even get close to his quality..

  16. Nonsense.

  17. That Levkie was * I thought, shocking decision making.

  18. Even if you want to cap Rogic as a "Very good SPL level" player, Arzani still has miles to go before he would be considered that, at a Celtic level at least, and thats the benchmark.

20 y/o shortly and only has not far off that in pro appearances, he is green as the grass. It's great that he's coming through, it's great that Australia are excited, but a little reality check is needed.

Dont agree bud, Leckie has been brilliant over the past 180 mins, a constant threat. One of the fittest players around, tall, quick and strong. His end product isn't top class, but he has set up a good few chances already.

As much as I like Leckie, he isn't a player that would interest me at all, I like him for Australia. A really decent player if you play counter attacking football.

Leckie has some engine but say he played for us, he'd get slaughtered by lots of folk for not having a very good ball on him.
