    I think this will likely be the case also. I don't see Celtic paying £10m for a player unless there are clauses like him playing x amount of internationals, goals scored or trophies won. However I really do not like how the press seem to treat the club as mad for breaking our record on a 20 year old. Our record is only £6m. Chelsea once paid £80,000 for a 10 year old, now that is mental.

    He didn't hint at it being higher at all. If anything his wording suggested it was lower.

    £5m with £5m in add ons I'd say. Not a chance it's up front.

    This has Lawwell slipping ‘pricing’ to the press all over it.

    He likes to do that from time to time, when it suddenly doesn’t work out somebody comes out and says the fees much lower.

    Rodgers himself has said it's lower than the €9million rumoured fee, which right now is £7.9million. So £10mil is entirely inaccurate.

    Even if its a similar deal to Ntcham from city, he's only 20 and if he keeps progressing like him and Dembele' we are hardly going to lose money on him further down the line.

    He never said it was lower, he simply said it's not £9m.

    So theoretically if we believe him then it could be either less OR more than £9m.

    It's a win win..

    Fast as *. Strong as an ox at only 20 and still developing. Knows how to finish. Done it in the league already so we know what we're getting and more..

    Still raw and plenty room for improvement but as seen more towards the end of the season....with more game time under his belt, he'll flourish..
