Is it no the kinda gaff that will be empty all through the week yous reckon?

Your average Joe won't be going there during the day unless a game or band are on I'd imagine..

Just under a fiver is standard in shithole pubs down here, give or take..

I loved grave yards as a kid. In 86 I was in USA staying with a family. Used to ask what do you want to do. I wanted to go read tombstones. Especially civil war graves. Still do the same when I go to Sligo. The famine graves.

That's it. I'd grudgingly pay it on a match day or if a band was on at the weekend but the rest of the week I'd be giving it a swerve if I'm just out for a few.

Malones has found the right balance I think (around £3.50 a Tennents last I was in) and puts on decent food as well.

Heverlee is lovely but the banging headache the next day with it isn’t worth it.

Aye the old boy's will definitely be taking a paper down the road for opening time's :giggle1:

If they can make a decent turnout on game day's, then fair enough. Used to have the hoops bar down here. Banged out and rebs belting in and out the pub on game day's. No * in it during the week. Eventually shut down and flats now..

Quite a few places down here have the right idea by shutting some day's. Pubs/bar's in the city or round Victoria even shut during weekend's knowing they've made their doe and what day's they'll be empty..

    It's a hard balance..
