Aye, I thought it was a bit more expensive than other Irish bars, but they need to pay for those big TV’s somehow, innit?

There's a fine line between charging a bit extra to cover added costs and just fleecing people.

I'd happily pay a bit extra for a decent bar with big TVs but anything over £4 a pint is ripping it IMO.

I'd rather go down to the Kerrydale Suite and pay those sort of prices, knowing the extra was at least going into Celtic.

£4.95 a Guinness is mental. Much is a pint in O'Neills over the road?

I was a fiver for a pint of Heineken in Maggie Mays right next to last weekend so those prices are just standard Merchant City.

Whenever you swerve from the pissy Tennents/Carling/Fosters taps you’re always looking about £4 ish a pint where I go out.

I’m more than happy to pay it too for an Estrella, Heineken, Kronenbourg. I’d rather enjoy my pint.

By the time I’m onto the gin, alcohol price is the least of my worries
