Feel for the keeper, 24 and embarrassed in front of the whole word on the biggest stage. Horrible way to lose a match of that magnitude.

I dunno, I don't put much responsibility on the keeper. Even before Salah got hacked off by that nutter Ramos Madrid looked like they were just going to cruise through the game no problem. They just have too much quality in every position. I imagine they might want a new keeper though but winning 3 CLs in a row? Do they need to upgrade? Rumours about Bale going back to the EPL. Think they would be crazy to sell him because who could they replace him with for any money?
They need to win La Liga again I think because even though the UCL is the biggest prize in football, winning the league is much harder because you have to be consistent playing to a high level even when you're not in the mood. Cup games always energise players. Brendan has never lost a cup game with us obviously but it's incredible how we can play average then when important games come up we take it seriously again and destroy teams.

Still cannot believe Barca messed up so badly in Rome. They would have given Madrid a challenge.

The Women's Final was boring until extra time then it totally exploded after Popp made a stupid challenge when her side were 1 nil up. Wolfsburg collapsed when she went off.
Lyon were brilliant though, taking advantage of the extra player.

 

You have to be an Evertonian. Liverpool have had one bad game regarding fans but they are definitely one of the world's biggest clubs. They dominated Europe and the English league 20 years ago but still won the Uefa cup, Champions League and now a CL final. Brendan nearly won the league with them playing amazing football.

Fans seem ok as far as I can tell but I do think the songs supporters sing to each other in the EPL are mental, really savage. I would hate it if we sang about the tragedies of other fans like that. Should be off limits.

Said it before but what does annoy me about Liverpool is they keep singing that * version of Athenry like it's the only song they know.

There's another club who sing different lyrics to The Spirit in the Sky? But they just keep repeating it like a broken record.

I'm biased but I think we have the best songbook out of any club. I know we sing songs already written but it's still much better than singing just the one song fans have written.

I love how the Marseille fans came up with what we call COYBIG in stereo, it really gets the crowd going.

 

I can't see past Messi, he's had a great season apart from the Rome game which will probably cost him the award.

I'm actually starting to care less about it as I appreciate Ronaldo is a fantastic footballer, way ahead of everyone else except one person who has single handedly changed our perception of what is possible in football and totally consistently for 13 years now. It's bewildering.

 

Ronaldo is such a * at times. First the comments about calling it the CR7 CL, then the mysterious remarks about his future. Bale wins them the CL and he can’t stand to see anyone else get the limelight.

Did C.fannybaws not just sign a 5 year deal? Sure I watched a press conference of him saying he is going to finish his career at Madrid.

And also him constantly referring to when “I” win 5 champions leagues etc such a self centred * it’s unreal, * must hate playing with him in a team.

Bale is currently a better more exciting player than Ronaldo who is on his way out and it wouldn’t surprise me if Bales lack of playing time is due to Ronaldo moaning at the higher ups.
