In essence though it shows that they really are grasping at straws.

After a few loses they'll be begging for our fans to fill their stadium.

Atmosphere needs opposing fans. Trying to restrict us to a few hundred tickets sounds like a poor attempt to bully.

And will not stop them being Mega prize *,the main reason why they have reduced our allocation is they want as few of us as possible to witness us pumping them at their Piggery:50:

Odd decision from them. This will kill off the bizarre, not-quite-OLD-Firm Sevco derby as a spectacle. It already wasn't competitive, this will take the atmosphere away and remove all point to televising it.

They need it a lot more than we do, so *'em. We'll be just fine without it. They may not be.

What were they thinking, the absolute muppets. :56:

1 it was a distraction on the day they basically had to admit to their deluded support they wouldn't be signing Skertl never mind Torres and Defoe and the stupid * fell for it.

2 They are trying to create a more toxic atmosphere around the SPL in the hope it will unsettle us. Sheer desperation.

Part of me thinks that they will restore the arrangements back to normal after we do the 10. Classic case of small club mentality where they can’t stand the sight of us rubbing their nose in it with every passing goal / victory.

Only consolation from this is that we no longer need to give £100 a year to the crooks in Govan. Will be interesting to see what happens if we get drawn at ibrox in a cup as I’m sure they are obligated to give away fans a higher percentage of the stadium.

I love how short term their chairmans acts.....cuts our tickets to give more rangers fans a seat for old firm games......aye great....but once we are sitting on 8iar or 9iar and their fans have seen the mighty steve g idea fail and they start to stay away from games what will he do then.....try and give celtic back the 9000....lol.
I have always been against us going there and helping fund that * club......so im more than happy for them to cut it 100% for all i care......the team will still * them 5-0....and the booing will be music to my ears.

Yeah, I guess you are right; but it's so stupid, mate. They are rocking the boat when we are the only ones who can swim.

I don't tend to think of myself as naive but I was genuinely struggling to comprehend their reaction to this. Another day they should have been fuming with the board ripping the * out of them again and they were acting like they had won the league. I don't mean to trivialise mental illnesses but the hysteria amongst their support does make it seem as if they are all ill.

    * you RR, you always come up with great metaphors especially when Sean is famous for being the best swimmer off the coast of Sligo cause he knew the current.

I'm convinced, apart from his scouting talent, he gave Jock the Jenius some ideas about how the opposition played because he seen it a long time before anyone else.

Jock was the mastermind though, Sean knew a good player, Stein knew a good position and tactics against an unstoppable force was the introduction of unstoppable attack. The world could not believe it, normally play safe against the best defence and hope. Stein and his 11 local lads knew hope was an insult to the game, positive relentless confidence was the way to play the game, that's why the fans love it, as long as you give your all we will support you forever and ever :ynwacelti

I wonder if that is why Trump got voted in. I mean their optimism for a charlatan is relentless and it's a bit worrying because of their history and their tactics that kept them on top.

What does a might power do when it's overcome by natural intelligence?

Ok sorry RR that was too obvious but not standing for the flag, I loved that. Bring in the (non muslim) troops!

I said this in the hun thread. What would be the point of making these games the big sell? They were already a ghost of the past despite all the hyping up. When only one side is winning and the other looks like they have no chance of ever matching them ....what's the point of pretending anymore. The OF is dead and buried and the SFA no longer have that to sell. They have driven another nail in the coffin. What would help this along is if our fans refuse to go there. Let the world hear them singing their bile for 90 minutes......we all know they don't know any good songs. Stevie G thinks he's bought into being a manager who will now be on the world stage. Probably nursing dreams of Old Firm games, possible wins and an eye to the next step up in his career. Well the Sevco/Celtic games are going to be horrendous for him and his reputation because beating Celtic isn't going to happen and when he comes 3rd or 4th in the table he will also have failed in what they consider to be an inferior league. What's the chances he will ever get another managerial post.

Stop on. This will do a lot of harm to the 'old firm' brand which is something only rangers peddle and depend upon. It is silly season though and they will say anything to sell season tickets. It just confuses me how their fans are taken in by snakeoil salesmen again and again.
