Aye i would describe it as reasonable at centre half. Done a job in difficult circumstances..

Things is, he has totally been wiped from midfield with what we now have and possibly could add in the summer, and we now have a defensive partnership with the emergence of Ajer and Boyata with Simunovic and Hendry. We'll without doubt sign a centre back in the summer also..

Where does he go from there?

He was good in the City game but more often than not, his languid style doesn't suit our play. He wants more time than he's got on the ball. Struggles to press. Can't handle midfielders running at or off him..

He's not a bad player but he just doesn't fit a Rodgers team at all in my opinion. Punt for a few mill and we can definitely get someone better suited in..

 

He's not pish but he doesn't work hard enough for a team that plays the way we do.

I reckon he'd be one of the best 5 a side players in our entire team funnily enough.

 

I think you sum it up when you say he doesn’t fit our current system.

 

Hendoesn’t but he’s a handy guy to have about who can change the system when it’s needed.

I am a fan of him, he’s a clever player and technique wise is fantastic. Look at him in the first 5-0 game last season, his ball through to Dembele was sensational.

I just wonder how Brendan Rodgers would respond to that if you ever had the opportunity to pull him aside and have a quiet word in his ear about your opinion on that fella from Israel that plays for the hoops.

I have to be honest, I had forgotten he was still here. So far down the pecking order now I can't see him getting a game again. I rated him when he came, he just lacks the ability to up the pace when it is required, he is always looking to slow it down.

Find it strange that folk wouldn't want to keep him as both a 5th choice cb and cm. He's capable in both.
