Yes he has shared Zionist posts supporting them in the past. Neil Lennon has made it clear many times he couldn’t give a single * about politics, ibcluding not wanting us to be singing Republican songs etc.

Plus, he hardly played him but that was due to injury mostly.

He wouldn't be missed 1 bit..

He's that slow paced that Brendan black listed him from his 'natural' position..

Aye I've genuinely wanted him sold for ages..

He did fill a spot early this season but even away against Relegated Partick. He was getting caught under the ball and I don't know how they missed the header, and also somehow got away without giving away a last minute penalty..

The animosity between Arabs and Jews? Napoleon offered Palestine to the Jews as a home land in 1799 and there have been major Jewish settlements in israel since the mid 1800s, if we’re being pedantic I should have said a couple of hundred years rather than hundreds.

That still is incorrect, this all really kicked off after the British gave up their mandate to the UN, that and the Balfour declaration. The Jews and Arabs in Palestine had lived side by side until after the Second World War. Yes there had been minor skirmishes but nothing on the scale we see today.

I’m sorry but that’s wrong, Jews had been treated as second class citizens in Arab and Muslim countries for hundreds of years, Jews were ethnically cleansed and synagogues were destroyed in much North Africa and the Middle East. The Jews that were lucky to live had to convert to Islam or be killed. As I said originally, this stuff has been going on for a very long time.

You are talking about the Ottoman Empire when it controlled most of the region, that is not the same war as we are seeing now ffs. Anyway if you want to discuss History I suggest to make a thread in the relevant section. I will leave this for you though. And Persia a Muslim empire saved the Jews on more than one occasion.

Maybe we’re misunderstanding each other. I don’t dispute that there was a time of peace between Arabs and Jews in Palestine for a while, all I’m saying is that Arabs and Jews have been fighting for hundreds of years prior. The continued ethnic cleansing and persecution of Jews has reinforced the idea that the Jews needed to re-establish their own homeland, hence Zionism grew, and the conflict we see today is a result of this.

Lads can we cut out the Israel/Palestine stuff in this thread.

It's been done to death in here over the years and no-one is bringing anything up that hasn't been said before in relation to Bitton. H&P section of the forum is there for a reason.

No, not really. It has been going on longer than just after WW2, it’s just the Brits stuck their oar in and made it go 1000x worse than ever.
