Calderwood a disgrace

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by ellboy, May 19, 2008.

  1. Listening to Calderwood tonight on Setanta before tonights game. Some of the things he has been saying is a disrace IMO.

1st Quote. "If Cousin had scored the goal after half time to go 2-0 in front at Motherwell they would have won the league"

2nd Quote "If Rangers can win 4-0 tonight then that will set it up nicely for thursday"

Both quotes to me sound like he has already made his mind up that the huns will get the result they need at pittordrie. A * discrace.

Lets not forget what Calderwood´s Dunfermiline did the last time in 2003 with them capitulating 6-1 to allow the huns to win the title on goal difference.

Maybe a tad paranoid but It stinks like a set up again.

  2. you've every right to be concerned pal. dunfirmlines antics were disgraceful that day but i cannae see the same thing happening at pittodrie. they hate der hun as much as us. i'm hoping for a draw

  3. if he did that he would be without a job in aberdeen.

  4. I agreed with that prior to tonight.

As Calderwood seems to have already conceded a 4-0 or better win at pittordrie to the Hun by his coments tonight.

Also tonight just before kick did you see Gus Mcpherson and Ally Mcoist giving each other a Wink and having a right laugh.

I am telling you this is stinking to high heaven.

FFS I hope I am wrong.

FFFFFFFS 3 mins gone and already a scum goal. can you smell it yet.

  5. Fat perma-tanned *.

  6. always hated gus macpherson. never expected st mirren to get anything tonight but as long as they keep it respectful i think we'll be o.k

  7. I sincerely hope you are right and we can only see what will pan out over the next few games.

However if the Huns win tonight and on Thursday by an aggregate of 8 clear goals or more then fingers will have to be pointed as to me it would be an obvious colusion.

  8. we're not paranoid for nothing, we've seen teams roll over for the huns before but i'm staying positive. who's to say we wont go to tannidice and hump the arabs anyway?

  9. calderwood is a *...hopefully we can count on the players getting the job done. l used to stay in Aberdeen..l know how much they hate the huns up North. ( Now Now...no jokes about sheep)

  10. Hopefully that will be our one saving grace.:50:

  11. I can see where your coming from ellboy, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if there were funny hand shakes going on. There's absolutely no need for Calderwood to be coming out and saying things like that, he's obviously not stupid so there's no way he doesn't realise what he's saying is going to start chins wagging.

  12. i think your a tad para but strange things to come out with considering he's playing them next.
yes - had cousin scored that chance then rangers would probs won the league, defo been fav's anyway and you wouldn't have expected them to * it up after that.

but he's basically admitting defeat in the next game

  13. Absolutley, funny handshakes are definately going on. It is a corupt discrace and they dont even have the decency to try to hide it.

I actualy had a decent opinion of Calderwood. However after tonight and as you say he has basically admtted defeat to the Huns. Its a total scandal.

I think there's no doubt the huns will win the game on Thursday, my concern is, Levein does not come across as anything other than a manager commited to getting results for his club, so I think we have the harder task.

I have no confidence in Calderwood as a manager after the Dunfermline thing.

  15. We have undoubtedly got the harder game.

Calderwood's tone and body language was all wrong tonight. He looks like a man who is already on his summer holidays. He was more interested in talking up Rangers than making a case for his own team.

I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the huns beat them by a few goals.

  16. Why don't we just worry about Celtic on Thursday night. Bet way to be honest.

  17. At least he said at the end there that he didn't think goal difference would play a part; that Rangers would have to get a result first and foremost and that Aberdeen are planning on have a say.

  18. I Agree, Cant See Levein Bein A Pushover, Do We Not Memba That Utd Are Still Fightin For 4th Place Which Gives Them More Money, It Wont Be An Easy Task. But On The Other Hand The Sheep Shaggers Do Hate The Huns So Theres A Hope For Even A Draw.....

I have posted before saying dont rely on Calderwood, but, I think his comments tonight were telling. He was hoping for four or more, as he probably thinks he could get away with 3 or 4 nil, but he knows that if they have to lose by 5 or 6, the Aberdonians will nail him by his * to a lampost.

And even with that he is wrong, cos a 3 or 4 nil result will have the same conclusion.

If he lies down again to hand Rangers the title, he wont get another job in Scotland, funny handshakes or not.

  19. The guys a * we just need to focus on dundee utd win against them and calderwood and his huns are *
