Honestly think it's been like that for a while though. Even when the players you mentioned were here. Just because it is 'expected' we should win.

In saying that, the result and the fact Rodgers probably gave them a rollicking didn't help.

Underwhelming end to the league campaign. Too many invisible performances. Hope there is a clear out in the summer.

That's why I think our 9 in a Row will never be topped. Golden era of Scottish Football, we were one of the best teams in the world and still some of the league titles went down to the wire. The celebrations then must've been unbelievable, like the St Mirren game every year :ynwacelti:party22:

So in the end we finished 9 points ahead of the sheep. Last season it was 30pts but that was a special season. This season we won 24 games, 10 fewer than last season, drew 10 games this season, lost 4 games and scored 33 fewer goals. BR promised that we would be better this season. Those stats say otherwise.

Sevco finished the season with more league goals than us. That's definitely not okay and needs fixed next season.

Morelos, Windass, Murphy etc finishing with more goals than Dembele, Griffiths, Sinclair? Unacceptable.

Beautiful Sunday - the IRA version
Our title winning celebrations were done in the Sevco game let's be honest.

Once we had won the league this year, all the remaining games felt very flat and you could hardly blame the players. Last season was different because we still had the unbeaten run to secure so it felt different.

My main worry is the squad for next season.

    This window is massive.

Shame we lost today, but with the cup final next week it was always going to be a cautious approach from the players.
Sure if we needed 3 points to clinch the title, it would have been a different performance and result.

Let's not forget 7 in a row is a GREAT achievement.

3-0 to the good guys next week

We’ve been absolute * by the previous seasons standard at home this season bar a few games. I know players were taking it easy not wanting to get injured and they had something to play for but they didn’t even look like they enjoyed themselves.

In the 2nd half Brown was actually our most creative player which * says it all. Worst I’ve seen Rogic in a while as well.

Yep you could see Broony more than once trying to go with the ball on his own. Even got a shot off from 1 of them..

Kinda showed where we were today..

It's why the team needed freshening up knowing we had the final coming up. Manager has to clock that and change a couple up..

The Aberdonian inferiority complex regarding anything Glasgow is being shown in full today.

Sometimes it isn't a bad thing for players to leave. New guys need to come in who want to prove themselves. To be honest the team is weaker than last year. I thought the team was better in Europe last season. Too often you thought Celtic could be taken. If players want to leave sometimes better to just let them leave.
Today is one of those games where you wonder if some of them want to play here.

Revamp needed. Our performance's in the league throughout the season, have been repeatedly lackluster..

Your right mate take the Huns game out the equation
    That’s last 3 home games
    Celtic 0 Dundee 0, Celtic 0 Kilmarnock 0, Celtic 0 Aberdeen 1,
That’s shocking stats against these teams,
A missed the Huns game so I’m getting called a jinx, that said least bothered I’ve ever been about a league defeat As previously said
    Next one the big one
Honestly thought big boyota was going to knock that wee * Logan out

Gotten used to trophy days being high scoring games under lennon and deila then last season was the invincibles so today was a bit of a comedown but tbh although we got the trophy today the real party happened after the huns game, not the first time we've lost on trophy day and it won't matter if we win next week, losing the unbeaten domestic home run was pretty disappointing though especially to Mcinnes and co.

In all fairness we had 3 strikers who swapped around and rarely played 2 at a time. Also with Rangers they scored more as teams didn't sit back like they do with us. Defense is also key to winning. Since the split we conceded 4 and 2 clean sheets. They conceded 12 and 1 clean sheet. What good is 5 goals if you also concede 5 goals?
