Sounds like we are going to assess with Chelsea if we need/want him and they reckon it's good for him to be here.

Before this "news" i was looking at the two wide positions as Sinclair/Morgan and Forrest/Charly
Could this open up a position needing filled - step in Mr Roberts

I would be pretty upset if we let him go back to Chelsea for good this summer. With the prospect of he and Paddy leaving (and the possibility of Tom leaving :55:), that leaves us incredibly short in terms of technical players with that flair to create moments of individual brilliance. And this is something we will really need if we want to take the next step in Europe this coming season.

I’m totally speculating, but I feel like he doesn’t want to play out wide and came here thinking he’d walk into the CAM position.

Seems like a no brainer he could play on either side yet we never really saw him running a wing.

Thing is, we were given the impression that Rodgers wanted him from near enough the moment he walked in the door. He certainly was looking at him for at least 12 months.

So that's hugely frustrating if he has come here and we've suddenly realised oh wait a minute he's not up to the task. Poor recruitment on our part.

Only bumping this because they were discussing it on BT there, also. Another strange situation...we really need to get it right this summer.

Very frustrating because we need more technical players like and Paddy and now we face losing both

All the hype around him signing too and with the big * reveal on twitter.

Getting Roberts back as well this season with the number 7 shirt has been underwhelming as well but that’s because of injury. I have no doubt he would have been great if fit and getting a run of games.

Thankfully Forrest has stepped up this season. Think we would have struggled otherwise with Sinclair been inconsistent and Dembele and Griff both injured for long spells. Having Edouard here has been a godsend in that regard.

Chelsea plan to cancel Charly Musonda's 18-month loan at Celtic and send the 21-year-old Belgian midfielder out elsewhere next season. (ESPN)

That game last was crying out for a Musonda type player to unlock a packed defense.

Disappointed how this one is turning out he came with such excitement, maybe he thought he could stroll it up here and wasn't ready to put in the work needed..

Hopefully he gives it another season tho but if he doesn't it won't be any great loss..

tbh I felt that he was bumming himself up too much like the big "I am". Maybe in his own head he thought he was better than what we had and didn't need Brendan's sage advice. I think that if he had shown something of real intent to get into the side he would have made it. Brendan wants total commitment and hard work and somehow I didn't get the impression this boy was like that. I might be wrong but it was a feeling I got. Brendan doesn't want a team of individuals he want's them working for each other. Dembele is a prime example......he's formed a great relationship with the other French speaking lads as well as the others. I think that it's sunk in that it isn't all about him........the dembelition man and all that crap. Morelos over at Sevco is a classic example of a player who thinks it's all about him. He stomps around like a kid who's had his lollipop stolen when things are not going his way. He also appears to have a self inflated sense of importance and ego as he truly seemed to believe the big transfer story :56:

I guess we can't expect every loan deal to be a success...

Apparently sending him to train with Chelsea LFC where players will be of a more similar build because this small malnourished girl clearly couldn't make it in Scotland.

His Mum has tweeted that he's ''back for good''. Sounds ominous to me.
