Sad day seeing Stoke get relegated. Loved their team under Pulis were their tactic was Rory Delap's long throws. For a couple of season it caused utter mayhem as very few of the other teams knew how to deal with them.

Also have had quite a few Irish players down the years, Wilson, Delap, Whelan, Walters, Ireland, Given, etc.

They had their time and were quite * now, canny mind the last time I seen them playing well. They used to be really solid and always managed to beat the bigger teams at home.

Hughes, after a decent first couple of season there, has honestly sucked all the life out of them. Can't blame the players, imagine having to look at that miserable face everyday?

Agree, i've never liked him. He's like the English version of Moyes dull as *, no style of play and depressing to look at.

They'll probably come straight back up next season.

    Welsh actually.

    You serious?

Good riddance to them. Boring team who offer nothing. Overstayed their welcome imo.

    West Brom are daft *.

They secure relegation and then beat Man Utd, draw with Liverpool and beat Spurs.

They're not relegated yet. Two points behind Swansea (who are 17th), with 1 game left. Swansea have a game in hand, mind.

Edit: Just saw, if Southampton beat Everton tonight then West Brom are *.

I was certain they were confirmed weeks ago but seems they’re not.

    Yet.

Yeah I was sure they had been relegated as well. Can't believe they aren't further adrift.

Darren Moore has done an incredible job in his few games in charge, maybe if they appointed him sooner when it was obvious Pardew was gonna do nothing then they might be in a better position. Still though, they've got a chance, no matter how slim it is it's not like Southampton or Swansea are exactly winning for fun.

It’s great for Brighton to stay up but a bit of a riddy to see how big a deal they’ve made of it.

I mean, fair play it’s a decent achievement but is it really that difficult to not be one of the three pishest teams in the league?

Big point for Huddersfield but if Swansea win on Tuesday they could well still need 4 points from their last 2 games.
