There's a chance that Liverpool could do it if they are right at it and as aggressive as they can be...but I fully expect Madrid to absolutely school them.

Ronaldo has saved up his goals for the final.

Mental how bad defending is at the top level these days.

Barca from 10-11 and Bayern from 12-13 would take double figures off either team in the final.

Won't be popular for saying this but I like both teams so looking forward to the final. Could end up a 10/21er.

Aye it was about 2007-2009 really when defending went to *. Before then like up to 2006 high scoring games were really rare then it kind of exploded.

Im sure like up to 2006 the winners of most Leagues used to only score like 60-80 goals, then Barca and Real started scoring 100+, think one season Real Madrid won it scoring 112 when the time they won it before they only scored like 62 a few years before.

Then there was all the mad games in England Man U beating Arsenal 8-3, Arsenal beating Liverpool 6-4, Man City beating Man U 6-1 or something(whatever the scores were) loads of scores like that have happened over the last 6/7 year when they were near enough unheard of in previous decades.

It's hard though to say wether defending really got that bad or some top teams got too good though. Probably a bit of both, defending got worse and the top teams got much better than they'd ever been before.

Makes you think what sort of damage Brazilian Ronaldo could have done if he played in teams surrounded with World Class players in every position like guys like Suarez, Benzema, Villa and that have done.

Ronaldinho also he played a good amount of time at Barcelona with guys like Belletti, Oleguer, Sylvinho, Marquez, Thiago Motta(before he was good), Edmilson, Gudjohnsen, Giuly and guys like that. Would have been great to have seen him in the Barca team with Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Villa of around 2010-2014 at his peak.

Decided to look there and up until 2008 teams in Spain were scoring like 80-85 at most, mostly under 80 but from 2009 to now every season at least one of Barcelona or Real Madrid have scored over 100 goals mostly both of them do and in 2012 Real Madrid scored 121 goals, 55 goals more than when they won the Leagu 5 years before.

Real were giving Bayern lots of chances on the counter attack which will play into Liverpools hands. Still fancy Real just because Ronaldo but Liverpool could get a good few chances.

No surprise at all seeing that Liverpool defence absolutely flapping again. They simply cant get away with playing like that against Madrid, you just know Ronaldo will get a few chances and convert at least one or two. Can just see Ronaldo playing on the shoulder of Alexander-Arnold now, and after seeing what Dzeko done to him, it could get hairy for Liverpool.

Mane-Firmino-Salah the difference in the tie. Roma have a better keeper, better midfield and the defences are a much of a muchness.

That Liverpool midfield 3 must be the worst to play in a UCL final in a long time, * all creativity. Stifle that front 3 and there's no Iniesta picking holes, no De Bruyne, no Isco. Need to up their game big time or Kroos and Modric will control the match.

Madrid can be got at so I expect Liverpool to score in the final, the question is if they can keep tight under pressure and if the midfield can win battles in the middle. Too many passengers, no ball retention at all. Route one stuff all day long.

Just watched the highlights, Alexander Arnold didn't half have a stinker. Same for the officials, some shocking decisions, can see why Roma are * off.

Anyway hopefully Liverpool lift the trophy now, * Madrid.
