Not sure we're quite at that stage yet but there are certainly some alarm bells starting to go off, in my head at least. The loyalty to error-prone players such as Gordon and Boyata, the shambolic defending, the lack of a plan b and also our signing policy are all compromising the clubs ability to push on and become better, especially in Europe. Don't get me wrong, i love Brendan and he's done a great job but there are some very basic problems with the team that don't seem to be being dealt with.

This is so ridiculously OTT I actually laughed when I read it. Very likely we will be making history this season with the Double Treble but apparently we are a shambles. Mental just * mental.

He’s going to win a double treble and when he does his place in Celtic history is assured until the end of time.

Two seasons is all it took for him to become a legend.

Last season was always going to be hard to replicate but as of now we've still only lost 3 games in nearly 2 years. Added to other teams have upped their game and we've not hit the heights of last season, and yet we're still on for back to back trebles. We are anything but a shambles. The shambles is in the West side of Glasgow

That were a shambles because he only played 20 mins? Is that your point?

Has he took his 20 mins and changed games and forced his way back in? No. So whats your point? You want him to * your misses?

As an apparent english teacher from your first reply i assumed your paddy question was a remark, that you thought he should have been on earlier. I seen zero question marks to show your statement was a question.

There were no question marks anywhere, but you commented on most of it.
Just thought you missed the Paddy bit.

    My * , overreact much?

It's litterally impossible to improve from a perfect season outwith winning the champions league ffs and even then we have seen improvements in Europe . To even name Brendan in the same breath as Delia is outrageous and should be a banable offence

Some of the hyperbole in this thread is ridiculous as of late.

We were never realistically going to maintain the same level of consistency as we’d shown last year. It was a level of consistency that you could argue we’d never shown in our own history previously, and that includes some exceptional periods of dominance.

Teams have adjusted to us and there are certain areas of the squad that need strengthened. We’ll likely lose a few big babes this summer too.

There is certainly room for criticism in terms of CL performances - we simply need to be far more savvy - but domestically we’re on the verge of back to back trebles, which demonstrates a remarkable level of consistency in Scotland if nothing else.

    Completely agree.

Players should be playing and starting based on form. Yet he sticks by the same guys who have been letting us down and doesn’t give a chance to others who deserve a go.

Nobody realistically expected us to go another season unbeaten. But the drop off in performances, and results, has been huge.

9 draws and 3 defeats compared to 4 draws and 0 defeats last season.

We know we can’t win every game but our level of performance in the league this season, on the whole, has to improve...and Rodgers will know that. He said when he joined that he wanted to entertain the fans with fast, exciting football.

Well, we’ve had very little of that this season.
