I would not mind Rodgers leaving if Lenny could come back.

 

I think he let himself down as well mate, the game went to Lenny’s tune, not Brendan’s.

 

He takes his blame tho too..

Why start Griff he’s obviously uncomfortable playing them..

Dropping Bain for Gordon is the wrong imo, for what he Gordon brings in shot stopping he detracts with distribution..

And the continued playing of Boyata is * up..

However it’s all relative, back to back trebles on the cards.. got to love BR and what he’s done with the club..

 

Usually I sit and listen to every word Brendan says before/during/after the fitba.

Today I cannie even be bothered listening to anything that comes out of his mouth tbh.

 

Griffiths scored the winner against them last time did he not?

I don’t think Bain should have been dropped last week but Gordon’s performance last week never merited dropping today.

Boyata I agree with. It’s not the personnel I disagree with today though. It was the tactics and approach to the game.

 

Needs to spend whatever money he's given well in the summer, with hindsight his January signings have been ineffective so far, Bain being the exception, Musonda might come good but considering the hype that came with him he's been disappointing.

Aye they deserve the credit they took the game to us and out fought us.. in terms of Griff I don’t want someone with ‘mixed’ emotions going into a game that can win us the league.. nah wouldn’t have strated him and he was poor for the most part..

Gordon cost us the first goal because of a pish ball.. but aye he did play well last week..

 

It was the most uninterested Celtic performance I can remember and I doubt it had anything to do with tactics.

 

starting griffiths when we know he doesn't give 100% against them was poor, forrest offers very little and the best outcome when he is on the ball is getting a corner. Couldn't really drop Gordon after the semi final game but he should drop him after the poor distribution today. Credit to hibs though, too many players are used to having so much time on the ball and they punished us. Funny thing is we will probably turn up for the huns and spank them 5-0

 

I don’t think Griffiths was pish due to mixed emotions, I think he played pish because Rodgers clearly approached the game with Dembele in mind then stuck in Griffiths as a like for like replacement when they’re completely different players. He needs a different type of support than Dembele and that shower, he looked isolated.

 

Clarke and Lennon...I wouldn't say the necessarily have Rodgers' number, but they certainly give him a headache.

 

As mentioned, we've been waiting for form to improve all season. We thought the winter break and Dubai would refresh us...nope we came back to playing the same stale, slow football.

It's a weird one as it will likely be another historic season under Brendan with the double treble, but * me it's been a grind to watch.

We really need a big summer window and some freshness in the team.

 

Just FYI Sunderland's net spend over the last 10 years is over £200mil. Net.

Almost all of Arsenal's net spend has been in the last 5 years. Think of all the players they sold in the 5 years before that (just off the top of my head: Thierry Henry, RvP, Carlos Vela, Alex Song, Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo, Cesc, Nasri, etc. etc.)

 

It would be great to see him slaughter the players from time to time after an abject performance.

 

He used to be quite spot on with the subs, now it's always the same uninspired * every game, a player for another of the same position.
