BR: “Neil and his team have done great this season. They’ve always been a difficult opponent to play against, and we’ve played four times already this season."

BR: “It’s always a difficult game but one we go into having worked well this week, and the players have good confidence. We’ll prepare for a tough game."

BR: “Listen, it was a very good win (semi-final) for us. You win a semi-final against one of your great rivals then there’s a good feeling in that, but very quickly you've to move on to the next game, & our next game gives us an opportunity to wrap up the league."

BR: “If we can do it great, if not, we have another four games to go. The most important thing is to win the title but of course, you want to do it as soon as you can

BR: "I’ve got a brilliant group of players who are very honest and have great qualities. They came off the back of a historic season last year and that’s what they’ve been measured again this year."

BR: “Ok, we may have not have reached the heights consistently as that but there are other factors within that."
BR: “People may talk about our football not being as quick, but I look at the weather conditions up here, and the pitches have been slower and heavier, so that’s obviously making it difficult as well."

BR: "If you’re assessing pure performances, there's no doubt we’ve drawn more games but the players have been absolutely fantastic."

BR: "They’ve played a lot of games, some very good games and some where we haven’t been so good, but what I always know is we always prepare well and give ourselves a chance to go and win games."

BR: "We’re now at the stage of the season, and you can see that in the performance of the players the last time out that they really enjoy playing under that type of pressure."

BR: “As a supporter of the club, I had to put that aside and, for the length of time I was here, create something that would inspire the supporters and give them as many happy moments as possible."

BR: “Being a fan, and knowing how they support this club and how great the supporters are here, I wanted to try and give them as many highs as I possibly could. That hasn’t changed."

BR: “There’s still a lot of work for me to do and achieve, on and off the pitch, but you can only do that if you’re happy, and I couldn’t be happier at this club and the support I get from the board."

BR: “It’s all very aligned and very clear, and that allows me to work in confidence, and it gives the stability to the team, the staff and everyone, and we can all move forward.”

One thing to be optimistic about is the day he does leave, he'll have left us in a far better position than when he took over. Heck he'll have left us in a far better position than any manager has left us in that I can remember, maybe MON aside I guess. His influence and importance goes beyond the results.
