Anno what a * ballon, Ireland is an island nation, the north east part was partitioned by the British Empire after a failed conquest of the whole island. He was still born on the Island of ireland, does not matter if its in the north or south if your born on that island your * Irish.

 

It is a very strange one, to be fair.

 

I’ve seen some * today including from people I know. There’s some amount of * Ireland fans, really is.

 

He is just another * trying to carve out a career in journalism with controversial stories, in order to compensate for a lack of ability.

It's exactly the kind of attitude you get from anti Celtic English punters down here..

I find it staggering the amount of Southern Irish who really don't like us given the history and struggles. I've come across it before and it's a total contrast to the North in my experience..

It's probably a jealousy thing, i'd imagine Celtic fans in the south constantly slag Irish fans of English teams like Man U, Liverpool and Chelsea as glory hunters and claim to support a real team etc so they resent Celtic fans.

Would be the same in Scotland too, in glesga is somebody said they were a Arsenal, Man U etc fan they'd get the pish ripped out them.

Why? Scotland will be preparing for friendlies in Peru and Mexico; Ireland will be preparing for friendlies in France and Ireland.

If I, a Scottish Celtic supporter, like Brown (who also supports another club with Irish roots), were asked to choose opposition for my testimonial, Ireland would be high up on my list.
