I slagged him at the start of the season but to be fair to him he's come on to a game and has probably been their best player in the last few month.

 

Yeah same here, earlier in the season he was scoring goals but his general play wasn’t great but lately he’s been playing well even when others round him were playing *, still a pedestrian performance this though from Utd.

 

Liverpool were awesome earlier it must be said.

Liverpool are gonna get paid.

 

The biggest compliment you can pay him is that his goals are starting to remind you of goals that Messi would score. Really has been an incredible signing, and at £37.5m looks a bit of a bargain.

 

It's crazy to think of how much talent Chelsea has given up on in recent years. Salah, Lukaku, de Bruyne, and (not really giving up, but still selling to a direct rival) Matic would be incredible additions to the side.

They all slide in well to a 4-3-3 with a front six like this:

And we'll probably be saying the same about some others they have on their books right now in a few years. They just have absolutely no desire to build a team, and they're paying for it now.

 

Packing my Everton season ticket in. In fact, rephrase that. Packing the EPL and modern football in general in. If I want to go and watch a local team it will be COLFC/Marine from next season. Big Sam has been the tip of the iceberg but in the main its how drab the EPL is. Its a complete cartel for the top 6. The rest are runners and riders.

Just with Everton moving away from its beloved Goodison to a stadium which is in the middle of nowhere in a desolate part of the town centre, a project which has rocketed in price, from an architect who has trimmed the capacity down funded by an owner who (allegedly) relies on Usamanov /USM for his money and accuses Lukaku of practicing 'voodoo' and uses Jim White/Talksport to get club news out. Even worse the fans are gullibly lapping it all up. The chairman barely invests (net spend) in the club. At Everton I often feel like I am talking to a brick wall to fans who have decided the club is a business and fans/football come second to commercial/ business acumen. Also some elements of our fans are not the most pleasant. Plus the atmosphere at Goodison is non existent. I have to sit next to a Tory at the match as well, * that.

However at Celtic I feel quite the opposite. People are friendly, football for the fans comes first and generating atmosphere and winning things is the priority. Added to that we have some level of club/political identity and camaraderie amongst fans with players who are not on 300k a week, and its like football back in the mid/late 90s when i first fell in love with it. Plus being a student going into my 3rd year a season ticket discount price of 300 quid is a beautiful thing. Alls we need to be doing is ensuring we have a board that is more ambitious and a team that performs better in Europe.
