Online dating basically. Me and the lads all agreed chatting about this in our local on Saturday that the best girls you meet are in person, that's all our experience.

Like when birds ask for your number on an online dating site, then however keen they are , they always want to talk to you on WhatsApp for over 2 weeks/sometimes a month before going on a date then wonder why your losing interest in them. <Bird Logic>

For starters that leaves you with sod all to talk about when /by the time you go out and the point of online dating is to actually go on dates to get to know people in the first place.

I'm not too bothered as basically doing my degree + as I am looking at travelling after I graduate the last thing I needed was a bird. It was more a case of my best mates fiance being like 'have a go I'll help you' and I was like well she's being nice/ a good mate so it won't hurt.

Also nothing is coming between myself and Celtic :D

    Bin politics.

Had to defrost the motor this morning and the missus' was going into the garage so was in a rush - goes out and every * has their blue and brown bins out. Basically 1 person puts theirs out and the rest of the street follow like sheep :56:

So that was me humphing bins round whilst already late :31:

You and your mates are looking at it wrong imo.

What you’ve described is exactly how Online Dating should be.

You get to know each other for a bit first to see if it might go somewhere. Then when you’re sure then you arrange to meet. If you were to just meet people straight away then that could be a complete waste of time and money for someone who you probably just “liked the look of” and vice versa. Bearing in mind you are on about dating to eventually get a bird out of it. This way you know she’s definitely serious. And if you “lose interest in them” then that’s your problem/loss, not theirs.

If you are looking for a ride or a quick meet up then you’re probably using the wrong site or speaking to the wrong type of girl in this case.

Blowing your nose infront of people is outrageous and should be socially unacceptable.

Me and all my mates are 29. The world's a busy place, no time for endless texting to someone you don't know. You break down barriers in person as everyone used to do. You either click in person or you don't. Saves the bullshit of texting about what your watching on Netflix.

The way we look at it is dead simple. In real life if you walk over to a girl in a bar, get chattting to her for a good few hours or so, you have a kiss and exchange phone numbers etc your probably going to meet that person the next week. This is roughly what happened to my best mate who is now engaged. You dont spend 2 weeks + fannying around. That to me tells me the person is too coy/shy/lacks confidence/has doubts.

I've met girls in job Interviews where just me and her me got eliminated at the same stage of the day, so I said to her fancy a drink and off that went for nearly a year. Before that she had never met me apart from her starting chatting to me in the job interview waiting area.

Another thing the lads where saying was you meet someone online they are less trustworthy as they could be (still) talking to all sorts without you knowing about it. I'm not sure about that as my cousin is married with 3 kids with someone she met online but I can understand why they think that.
