I hope Brendan doesn’t drop Ntcham for Armstrong like the Parkhead game, that was a massive mistake imo.

 

He's only just back training can't see him being in the team.
But who knows he might play.

Armstrong will be on the bench.

OK sounds good. You had me worried there with Boyata. We will see if he starts but worst case he is on the bench.

 

Think we have to go 4 4 2, would be stupid playing Tierney on the left himself because candeais and tavernier will both constantly push forward and leave him in a 2v1. Tactically doesn't make sense to play a 3 5 2.

Would go totally against Brendan's philosophy but I agree. I think 3-5-2 wouldn't be a terrible decision but 4 at the back and 2 up front are what I'll be hoping for.

 

Yeah I think 4 makes more sense and I hope we got with dembele and edouard up top because they won't know what to do with them.

The only position I'm not sure on is who starts left mid? Sinclair, musonda or play McGregor like against zenit.

Despite his poor form id be tempted to start Sinclair, got a feeling he'll score. Then again you can rely on McGregor to turn up in a game like this

 

Spot on for me.

We need the physicality of Ntcham in the middle, Edouard also offers physicality and pace. Big strong guy with pace power and a class first touch.

I also think us playing Edouard will * them up a bit. He will drift in and out of gaps between their defence and midfield and act as a second striker so they will need to be reactive to that which will inhibit their right back to freely go forward.

Sinclair, not slating him because he is a cracking player. But as a winger he's a traditional type of winger who loves to cut inside.

As a right back you know what you need to do to stop him. Edouard however.. plus the way he brings Dembele to life is very important.
