Aye but it's a day before. Unless the roads are all closed then I don't see what the problem is as it's only what, a half hour drive?

A Saturday game on the box surely gives them the best revenue instead of a weekday where even more won't turn up, them included and it might no be on the telly..

    * them. Come over, take your spanking and bit of wedge then * off back..

Some of you realise that Celtic fans travel from all over the country to attend games?

Including some from the North East where the A90 has been closed today due to accidents and snow drifts.

I assumed it would be off, but have been proven wrong. Not arsed either way to be honest just highlighting that there are lots of considerations to be made that’s all :50:

I’m scratching my head thinking the same, if they somehow got their wish and it’s postponed then they will lose all the Sky proceeds as I doubt it will be reshown on a CL night, clubs like Morton need that type of payday a million times more than we do as they are so few and far between to them, it makes so little sense they’d want to jeopardise that cash that I’m wondering who these Morton sources are and are they real quotes or just the press * stirring,

No being funny either there is probably a bigger Celtic support coming from the Greenock and Clyde coast area than Morton fans! Plus it’s on tele, i am still knee deep in snow but I will walk to main road and get the 61 across * it!

Aye that’s fair enough mate if those fans can’t make it then that’s fine but it doesn’t come into the reckoning when deciding if a match is off in Glasgow from the police or Celtic tbh.

    Pitch fine
    Surrounding area fine
    Forecast fine
    Access roads for fans fine

    Game on!!!

All roads totally clear in and around Celtic Park (A roads) for any funny * coming on saying Burger Street is still got snow)

M8 is flowing like normal, temp not due to dip below freezing. Wouldn’t be on tele due to clashing with ucl matches in a midweek

I would've understood that more but we've given it the go ahead and it's Morton who are kicking up about it, when I can't imagine their support comes from anywhere but Greenock and Renfrewshire which is basically on the doorstep as well..

Aye it really doesn't make sense from their angle. Do they believe if it's postponed they'll have a better chance of beating us in a midweek fixture sandwiched between league one's?

You make valid points mate but as I said police and Celtic don’t care really if the A90 has drifts it’s the stadium that’s fine as * as that may seem

See on the grand scheme of things, it’s not that much snow. Other countries have been productive with more snow. People are just too lazy to dig a car out, or walk to a train station (they are meant to be on tomorrow).

Dont see the big fuss about it being on you either go or you dont its a simple fact that people would be bending over backwards if it was next week or a european game the place would be sold out
