Shh (Boruc)

A snippet in the Guardian rumours today has linked Chelsea with Artur Boruc. Afraid to say no figures, quotes or even the red-top they got this rumour from but hopefully its a lot of *.

 

Hopefully it is * man, if there is a 0.01% chance that it is true, Chelsea will prob end up paying a ridiculous amount to get him. Don't see why they need another keeper anyway, Cechs decent, even though he took his team-mate John Terry out in yesterdays match!

 

can't see this...... Boruc will need first team football, cech won't be going anywhere, and anyway... I thought Boruc was on his way to AC-Milan? thats the rumour around my way, Lets just pray its all hearsay and the Holy Goalie will stay for a season or two more!

he'll leave in the summer i think, but to who is anyones guess.

 

why would chelsea try and sign artur if they already have 1 world class keeper and 2 decent back up keepers.

 

Not trying to defend this rumour or anything But Cudicini should be on his way out and Hilario as second choice?

Regardless, Boruc is a man of principle so unless he would be first team for a top top side he wouldnt leave for anyone.

 

i dont care how rich chelsea are even they wouldn't spend £10 million on a second choice keeper. artur would give cech a run for his money but still think cech would be first choice. hilario has done well when he's played imo

 

well if chelski want him , £25m and he's theirs :icon_mrgreen:

Might be some truth in this, Cech's agent in papers today saying an unamed European giant is willing to pay 32 mill for him.

 

We need to aim higher than "he's leaving in the summer".

This is Celtic and we should be aiming to keep him no matter what. I rate him in the top 3 in the world.

 

I have heard that Boruc is elaving for Arsenal with Celtic grabbing Bolton keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen as his replacement.

 

chelski dont need him, but that hasnt stopped them buying before, i remember they had 4 first team left wingers at one stage

 

just being realistic mate, artur has said he's happy here but would leave if one of the "bigger" european clubs makes a good offer

 

some top european team according to the bbc ,have said there lining up a bid of 32million for peter chech, so it could be possible

I've heard that Wenger's going to have a transfer budget of 25M...Surely he won't spend half of it on a keeper?

Why would Cech leave Chelsea?

I doubt that Boruc will be leaving us. I don't think that many clubs would be willing to pay 10M+ on a keeper.

If Sunderland can spend 13 Mill on a keeper not even half as good as Boruc then im sure plenty teams will spend the 15 or so it will hopefully take to get Boruc.

In saying that, Id rather we kept him.

 

it was £7m up front and £2m add-ons. thats £9m tops. don't know where you're getting that figure from.

i wouldn't say Gordon is 'half as good' as Boruc is. he is a good goalkeeper, it's just Boruc is better, but not as much as you think.
