What is a worry for me is how poor we look when Broony is out of the team.

Peter should come on here and see that he is a penny pinching * as with the rest of the board sitting laughing collecting a massive wage with the club having 30 mill in the bank and top that up with European football this season as well.

Rodgers for me is a very good manager and give him credit when it's due which he has had in abundance.

When it's gone wrong which it has he should be held accountable also, his style is not working as well this season and teams have learnt how to play against us.

It's criminal that Rodgers have not addressed our defensive and keeper problems in 2 windows, I know the board can take flack cause we penny pench and always have done but Rodgers has to stand up and take some of the blame and say enough is enough I need real quality.

That has not happened and we habe signed more midfield players instead.

Rodgers stated that he got what he asked for in the last window if that's the case then he should held accountable for the recruitment mistakes he has made at the back and keeper.

All managers make mistakes but it's the good ones who correct these and see that change is needed.

Time will tell if Rdogers will change and adapt because it's clear as day it's needed.

Oh I think that most folks have woken up to the Celtic board long ago. They have been using that excuse I agree but it was going on long before that. Henrik and perhaps other players might have stayed had the club shown more ambition but I agree Barca would be hard to knock back. Parallels with other managers since MON ....the club holding onto the money. No Celtic manager is ever going to be totally backed or be given the money required. If we were an EPL club (heaven forbid) things would be different. We're a big fish in a wee pond and I have a feeling that's the way it will stay. The fans expectations/aspirations seldom match those of the Club and recruiting a * load of players in the summer is never going to happen. You can put money on it. I will say this though I'm more nervous about the run in now and I never thought that I would say that. Our hope is that a lot of injuries are resolved and these guys come back firing on all cylinders.

Remember when all thought losing to Hearts would be the best thing to happen to us, we haven't struck together 2 good performances in a row all season and that's a massive worry
Even a rookie manager in Graeme Murty seems to have a found a way to stop us you could argue in the 2 games against us they've been the better team

He needs to get a gripnof the defence.

Im.thinking Compper and boyata will be our best partnership. So will see how that goes.

He will have to think about tactics though for me, I remeber moons ago when MO was the boss and we'd be using a 3-5-2 against Rangers and we'd be beating them, then Rangers starter countering that with pacy full backs getting in between Mjallby, Joos then he countered it with going 4-4-2 with the likes of Agathe at fullback and Jackie on the left and it got better again.

    BR needs to learn this.forbme

He's an attack minded manager and that was the one exciting thing about him before he signed but at the same time was the most worrying thing in regards to Europe for me.

We have had a couple of performances where the ability to defend in numbers and counter effectively has been there, but when put under real pressure - which we weren't last week tbh- we crumble time and time again.

He needs to sort the defence. I don't think we will ever be completely resolute back there under him but there is surely improvement to be had on what we are currently seeing.

TBH even attack wise we are pish at the moment. We have went possession daft and are now actually playing the opposite to how he wants us to. No movement, slow and not scoring enough goals.

Our front 4 in particular is perplexing at the moment. When the ball goes wide literally no-one moves or helps the likes of Sinclair etc. It's like we have no idea what to do.

Makes it so easier for teams to double up and is partly the reason why Sinclair has been so poor this season IMO. He has to of course take blame himself but he isn't being helped by those around him.

So slow and ponderous...genuinely is reminiscent to Deila's stuff at the end. Which shouldn't happen with Rodgers in charge and the players we have.

Dembele looks like he could play all season and not score at the minute too.

We broke every scoring record under the sun last season and this season we can hardly even fashion a chance against the likes of kilmarnock and St Johnstone.

His stubbornness is killing our performance. Being more focused on the defense could actually help our attack as well. At the moment, players up front must have no confidence that, if we lose the ball, we could recover and prevent a goal. That needs to change.

Often see people comment about how it’s worrying how poor we are without Brown.

Think that kind of puts a negative spin on the fact that he’s actually a great player and would improve most teams drastically.. of course we are going to look worse without him, he’s not easily replaceable.

This is exactly how I feel.
We're possession at all costs over flair & creativity. I'm a massive fan of Ntcham but I'm concerned as to whether him and Brown can play together as both go side and back an awful lot. Neither of them drive forward like Armstrong.
Lustig and Tierney now turn sideways mostly (Lustig almost 100% of the time).
The amount of times we have possession in the opposition half and seconds later the ball is at the feet of our keeper is frightening.

The defence is a shambles but I would like us to sign a big monster midfielder who will tackle anything. Wanyamaesque

Agree with that other than Ntcham. I think he is more than capable of playing alongside Brown but needs to be allowed more freedom.

He's shown that he has everything to be a top class box to box midfielder IMO. One thing about him is that if a pass forward is on he will try and play it, can pull off some brilliant moves.

My view on the playing style, as well. We seem to be cowardly in passing, instead of willing to take a gamble.

I think Rodgers has kinda bought into the whole buy young players and develop them sell them on wich is just as well for our board.
But He's an elite level manager used to spending millions on experienced quality surely he can't be happy with his lot.

I'm starting to doubt br with his comments ....he said the team was too sideways and backwards .... It because of him they play like that ???? Always passed back and it's * irritating rodgers said last season crowd needs to be patient sometimes you have to pass back to start over. He said that more than once last season .... Yeh the team was * last night .... but that was your tactic Brendan. Talk about throwing your team under the bus and not standing up and taking responsibility . Domestically rodgers has some record but this season has shown him to be arrogant a liar at times ... telling people what they want to hear ... total kiss * to the board and a let down to the team. Gone down in my estimation
