He could have played in Europe and has been playing well since he's been up here.
    We missed the boat imo.

Rodgers considers Boyata to be our no.1 CB, He's gave Jozo a 5 year contract and bought 2 CB's in January, looks like he's happy with what he's got.

We're beginning to go backwards as we've done several times already since the turn of the century.

Each time it's been due to a lack of investment. Big changes needed in the summer

Compper is almost 34. Have u looked at his stats for games played since he was 29? He's NOT the answer

Rodgers must rate him more than Caulker, but we'll see.

Cant compare martin oneill to brendan as different eras and oneill spent a lot more on the team too on experience for europe wich we probably wont get these days from the board with the price of players to take you up a level ..so we have went with a young side now wich takes time... infinetly better than ronny doolittle and lennon though.

O’Neill didn’t spend to compete in Europe.
He got the money to defeat the Huns. The financially doped Huns. Which is why he got so much.
Soon as he proved he could beat them the money dried up and we ended up with David Fernandez and Momo Sylla.

Probably a problem too they only spend when they NEED to.. they have money for sure but i am unsure what kind of experienced high level player you can get for 6 to 7m these days...and we would need a few of those types to try get last 16 in the CL.

We can’t attack him yet. The success he’s brought us had been unreal. To expect him to go without mistakes is ludacrous. Everyone will be raging when he leaves and we are left with Owen Coyle and Conor Sammon up front.

Look let’s be honest performance this season haven’t been great. Form is inconsistent as *. But there is no one out there I would have replace Brendan, only way he leaves is if we lose the league or he gets a top 6 job in epl.

All hurting tonight but let’s calm down, see what Next 17 days bring could be in a Scottish cup semi and 12 points clear or out the cup and 3 points clear or less!

Strachan got to the last 16 twice but even he had some expensive buys and some more experienced players in the starting 11s such as jvoh ..gravesen and nakamura etc..its harder to do it these days unless you get a favourable draw.

And that frightens the life out of me. He has been clueless signing defenders in saying that Kolo done us a turn for 6 months.

If he really can't see that we need better quality then he clearly needs a reality check.

It's happened time and time again, even under WGS, Lennon and then Deila as well.

Then they came back to the top flight and we push the boat out on Rodgers first season and look at this season.......

Same old same old Celtic never ever strengthen from a position of strengh.

This summer will be our most important windows in a long time if we * it up we can say goodbye to the 10 and also champions league qualification.

We will * it and say goodbye to the ten , i think the board is happy enough to make a profit and be strong in domestic competitions, lets break even and do better in Europe

The annoying thing is it would probably take us not winning the treble for the board to release funds for Rodgers, if Deila hadn't had that disastrous result against the huns and gone on to win the cup then I doubt he'd have been let go, it usually takes complete disaster and drastic drops in season ticket sales for us to spend money.
