I think this is the kind of game you get when it is sandwiched between two massive euro ties and most of the team is rested.

I think it is disappointing in the sense that guys like Sinclair and Edouard dont seem to be pushing very hard to give Rodgers a selection headache. And Im convinced we have a motivation problem playing most weeks in scotland. But in the grand scheme of things this will be forgotten as long as we get a result on Thursday. We actually extended our lead at the top, avoided injuries, and managed to rest most of the key players. It doesnt feel anything like a disaster.

I'd like to see us try to be more forward thinking during games of this nature, at times we were at the edge of their box, 30 secs later we were back at our own GK, sometimes our midfielders had the chance to play the ball ahead but chose to go back the way, this allowed the opposition to press us.

Even early in the first half we were playing the ball slowly between our Gk and defenders, i think big Dorus looks nervous at times, and so do our defenders, again this nearly resulted in st Johnstone gettin a chance.

We need to start taking more pot shots from outside the box. We don't do it nearly enough.

Yeah i think when we're playing against a packed defence, which is usually most games lol, we really need a plan b, because teams are gettin wise to our style of play.

dont think anyone's disputing Brendan s fabulous record mate, just some people don't really see why he made 7 changes from a team who were brilliant on Thursday and would be buzzing to get out again today and next Thursday bar broony who is suspended
Guys like gamboa Miller and Henry are all decent players but they've never played an actual game together and it showed
All ifs and buts but Forrest, Tierney, simonuvic, lustig and Ntcham on from start would've won that match comfortably today

Too slow and predictable this team .
When we are up for a game and zip the ball about quickly then nobody can get near us .
What is the point of all the possession if you don’t make it count ?

I was at the game on Thurs as I was today. I said before Thurs we'll see how we play when a team lines up properly against us. We had the scope to play our own way. We had the buzz of a full house driving the team on.

Can you not see that teams understand what we are going to do and set up to counter it. Since december weve been destroyed at hearts. Thrown away points vs Hibs from.2 up. Couldnt break down sevco, Lost at Killie drawn today and we look less inventive and more likely to contribute to our own downfall in these games. Its a massive dip.

Teams have evolved in their approach. We continue to do the same frustrating things that don't work. The crowd today was a joke compared to Thursday. Every goal kick is a problem as we are determined to pass it short. Every corner is a wasted trip for centre backs as we refuse to deliver a cross. These aspects of play are not getting better. Its getting worse. These are the fundamentals of football and were easy to stop now. That's why there was a half empty stadium booing at full time.

When we're 4 nil up and cruising then 400 passes across the back is bearable, but no when we're trying to get a goal that will secure the points. :67:

Boring game could see it ending 0-0 in the first 20 mins. Typical game after a euro night during the week. The mrs families came over from dublin first time at paradise so it was a bit of a let down for them.

Aye it’s disappointing but with the amount of changes and youngsters on show, I’m not overly concerned.. Thurs is much more important.

    This 100%.

Frustrates the * life out a me that no-one takes a bit of responsibility and has a shot.

And the amount of times we are through on goal and decide to pull it back and tippy-tappy about the box for 5 mins eventually losing possession instead of hitting it is criminal.

That was pish today. At least we looked a bit more likely to score in the second half. Ref was brutal and let them away with murder. Still, clear at the top of the league with a bit of breathing space and I'm sure if we qualify on Thursday nobody will care about 2 dropped points vs St Johnstone.

:50:Rogić had a situation in the first half where he could have tried a shot with his killer left foot, but did nothing. Sinclair had no attempts from cut-ins. If we aim to be an attacking team, then we must gamble a bit as well, with long shots.

We have been absolutely shocking at home domestically for most of this season and it’s not good enough.

The league isn’t won yet and the players should act like it.

2 wins from 2, away to Aberdeen and at home to Dundee is a must, before we head to the shitpit.

    I would in a second.

I agree that we have been too complacent in the league this season but 6 points with a much better goal difference is still an ok position to be in against aberdeen and rangers. Celtic could lose at the weekend, and go on to lose against Aberdeen again and also against Rangers and they would still need to drop points elsewhere while one of those teams would need to win every game. Our form in the league hasnt been good enough but I see almost no chance that we will lose the league.
