I think he's being hampered by Sinclair being a shadow of the player he was last season. He's scoring goals but not doing much else apart from that.

Sinclair needs to get the finger out he offers him no help at all both in attack and defence

 

He's a great player. And I think he takes his fair share of kicks. And over time you begin to be worn down by the stress of the big game, the pressure of expectation and the toll taken on your body when you can be hurt by opposition players as part of the course.

 

I agree to some extent but at the same time there have been games where Sinclair hasn’t played and Tierney has still been below par.

There’s no doubt he’s a great prospect but at the same time he needs to be praised / critiqued the same way as any other player in the team where applicable.

Have said it before but I think we are missing Izzy around the squad as there is no competition for left back. Only natural that a level of complacency would creep into KT’s game when he doesn’t have any competition for his place.

 

Saved us a replay with that tackle at the end. Take him out the team and we have absolutely nothing at the back.

KT tried to play him down the wing first half and Sinclair was flat footed and it went out for a goal kick. KT couldn't even be bothered to acknowledge him as he ran right past him looking totally disgusted..

On a side note. I know KT is hard as nails as has been proven and gets some shocking treatment, but......more and more I see him lying on the deck from slight brushes like he's been shot..

He gets no help from officials I get that and probably feels he needs to be over dramatic to get the attention but quite a few time's recently I've been cringing at how many time's he's down holding his head only for the replay to show barely anyone's touched him..

Been noticing this as well, not sure if it's something to do with Rodgers but it's getting to the point where a fair amount of our players go down easily/try to deceive the ref. Maybe it is due to the manager coming from England where it's more prevelant. Either way I don't like it

 

never did this before , but you having a fekkin laugh !! the treatment handed out to kieran is fekkin assault most weeks , not forgetting the disgraceful bootings dished out on a regular basis that goes unpunished to practically every other player in the team .. * me !!
