I know he had an assist, but other than that i thought he was really poor.

Think one of the reasons he’s been so poor this season is the fact our build play is so slow and sluggish. He’s a fast, direct player. He’s not as suited to the ‘25 passes between the back 5 then pass to brown and then plod forward’ type attack.
Still. He’s been pish and his finishing has always been terrible.

Seems a different player who is not inteested for some reason.

I * love him as a player but he needs dropped, something is going ok with him.

I hope he pulls the finger out soon.

He'll play on Thursday and I think he along with the rest of the team will really be up for it and raise their game. Especially those we expect better of - Ntcham, Simunovic, Lustig and Dembele. Whether it will be enough or not remains to be seen.

the bigger games , usually better he plays same with Dembele' sometimes in the lesser games they go through the motions and know 3 pts is a gimme..bursting with attacking flair and talent Forrest,Sinclair,Dembele'Musonda,Rogic,Roberts,Griffiths ..Harlem Globetrotters stuff.

Reminds me of Samaras. Has all the ability to glide past guys like they don't exist, the first half for example.

He seems to have mentality issues though.

Wish folk would stop comparing him to Samaras. He’s levels above the big lazy Greek.

Teams put 2 and 3 guys on him every league game, he should be exploiting the space left from this instead of trying to beat the 2 and 3 defenders every time.

He's at his best when he has space to run into , Cutting in from the left side and usually curls the ball into far corner..missed a 1-on 1 sitter yesterday though.

I'm comparing the fact that the two players had all of the ability in the world to rip the pish out of SPFL right backs as if they weren't there and then play a good pass leading to a goal.

Sinclair did it in the first half yesterday and it was terrific. He seems to lack confidence and his finishing when he gets near the 6 yard box seems to be poor more often than not.

For me Sinclair has to be more decisive in what he does. He often takes too many touches and lets the defender recover and get in a good position.

Agree with what your saying, just don’t like him being compared to Samaras. He’s a much better player with a much better attitude.

He needs to receive the ball on the wing and play early passes in and around the box. Just now he’s just getting the ball, letting 3 markers surround him then trying to wriggle out of trouble and getting no joy.

For me, that's why they are a good comparison.
Not in style or ability. But in how they are (not) allowed to play to their strength.
Once teams figure sinclair out, they double up on him and make it harder for him to play. Same went for samaras (that's the comparison for me), who played best in Europe because teams afforded him more space.

That comparison stops there though, as sinclair is still managing to have an effect on the game, he is still scoring and assisting greatly. He just isnt able to be as explosive as last year.

He's had his period of grace based on previous exploits and a frankly bizarre tally of goals despite being visibly mince.

I'm sick of seeing the 'cut-back-and-move-infield-and-try-and-place-it-in-the-top-corner' move. I want to see a bit more substance!

like 80% of the team. this isnt a problem with just sinclair the whole squad seem to be lacking in motivation bar broony and forrest but even they have at times looked as if they couldnt be arsed.
Sir alex always said its best to split up a tittle winning team in the second season to keep the determination, we need some of the hungry youth players to step up.
