Flu. What a * of a thing. Any wonder it kills so many people every year.
Thankfully it's only my second flu in my 41 years. But next season I'm getting the flu jab.

That those pesky Austrians have managed to convince the world that Hitler was German and Beethoven was Viennese.

People that jump on the bandwagon when famous people die. Like all of a sudden they were the greatest person ever now that they're dead.

When Prince died last year the bandwagon jumping was just ridiculous. Granted some of the guys songs were good. But there's no way anyone was classing him as some guru of music when he was still alive. All of a sudden he dies, and people are having Prince themed street parties and the like. I bet half the folk there werent even alive in the 80s when the guy was at the height of his career.

The same thing happened with the Linkin Park guy last year. Had like one notable song and one notable album (no disrespect), but all of a sudden he's dead and folk are acting like he should be indited into some rock hall of fame.

Stop jumping on the bandwagon!!! fair enough if you were a super obsessed fan when they were alive, but if not then stop acting like you were

Agree with the sentiment behind people jumping on the bandwagon, but have to disagree with your point about the boy from Linkin Park. Thought he had a wonderful voice and thought they had some excellent songs. To me they were a unique sound and the only band I could ever like that fell into that sub-genre (whatever it was!)

Not disagreeing that the guy was talented. Im just saying that for a while there he was as iconic as Kurt Cobain or TuPac the way some people were going on about him just after he died. Once again a lot of people who probably had barely heard a Linkin Park song all hailing the guy's genius while knowing nearly nothing about him. Just cause it was trendy at the time.

I think Chester Bennington is bad example with the point, there obviously were hangers on but he was a hugely talented and loved singer, stopped me dead when I heard it, he was the voice of a generation during the nu metal boom, him and Dolores O'Riordan dying left me cold.

Linkin Park and Chester were literally the face of a whole music genre and one of the most successful bands in the world over the last two decades. They collaborated with one of the best rappers of the current generation as you know if your name is true and did it with record breaking success so they've had well more than one good song.

I agree with your point about dead people suddenly becoming greats but you chose two * poor examples tbh.

Prince is a * icon aswell, you'll struggle to find many top musicians in rock/ hip hop/ pop genres that don't list atleast one of those two as a major influence.

folk leaving small amounts of tea in their cup and just sitting it through the kitchen. Its so easy to pour the remaining tea down the sink....your in the kitchen anyway!! Then when other folk go to do the dishes theres 3 or 4 cups with small amounts of tea in them and you've already filled the sink with water, so you then need to take the cups through to the bathroom to empty them in the bathroom sink first. This is a terrible terrible habit. Drink the tea or pour what you dont want down the sink or I start cutting off fingers.

Has a really annoying voice. Only trumped by him from the Stereophonics....which is even more annoying
