He is a actually a very good shot stopper and reflex saves tbh some belters in that he makes himself very big in the goal, his kicking, catching and decision making are poor at times though tbh

 

Distribution is not what you should be classing as the priority when talking about a goal keeper ffs .

DDV has a lot to prove and based on what we've seen, I wouldn't be surprised if Bain gets given a shot in goals.

*I'm obviously judging on what we've seen competitively and my guess is that he's had the worst shot to goal ratio in our history.

 

At what point did I say it was the priority?

Gordon’s distribution is shocking and it’s became a real problem. He’s far too slow and inaccurate with his kicks and throws when we have an opportunity to counter and he constantly gives possession back to the other team. It’s pretty * important.

His shot stopping isn’t even that good either is you want to talk about priorities.

De Vries deserves a few games to show what he’s made of.

 

CRAIG GORDON has had it confirmed by a top London knee specialist that he WILL play again this season.

The Celtic No1 injured his medial ligament during a clash with Hibs a fortnight ago.

Gordon, 35, landed badly when he was accidentally smashed by former team-mate Efe Ambrose.

Initial fears were that the keeper’s season could be over before Brendan Rodgers revealed he was hopeful the damage wasn’t too serious.

But Gordon was sent down south for scans on Thursday with it confirmed he should be fit and ready for action by April.

 

Good that he'll be back but no gaurentee he will get his place back. Depends how big D does.

I reckon this is his last season as number 1 anyway

 

Defo, I think Gordon is the beter keeper but de vries makes less mistakes, so far anyway

I don't think Gordon was having a bad season, can't think of any massive howlers?

 

It’s more just the constant panic and pressure he puts the team under. I understand Rodgers is instructing him to play out from the back but we need someone a lot more competent at the role.

 

I'm sure there's been a couple of big errors but I genuinely can't remember one just now.

 

Not been his biggest fan recently, but delighted to hear he will be back and that his knee injury isn't serious
