    I wouldn't take that comment about the keeper that it will be a 'back up' in its literal sense, DDV came in as 'back up' and almost instantly took Gordon's place.

    That's the professional way to handle the situation publically.

    If he goes he needs replaced. If anything, we need a CB, GK and RB it’s a complete disgrace that we haven’t addressed these positions. Jack Hendry isn’t going sort us out.

    We play one up top, there's zero chance Rodgers is looking at bringing in a 4th striker.

    And as much we all know RB needs strengthened, unless we manage to punt Gamboa it's unlikely we'll bring in another RB before the summer.

    That's not 100% though is it? Also if we can't get the right recruitment done for the positions we really need do you really think we are gonna splash out on another forward in the last 2-3 days of this window..... I don't.

    I always admire Rodgers calmness. He speaks so well.

    However, the talk of bringing in a center back seems to have died down since the injury of Gordon.
    I think the only defender we could potentially get now will be Hendry.
    Im not sure why it has taken us so long to bring in Musonda though. Surely his position at Chelsea has been clear for some time now.

    Im not really holding out any hope that we will bring in anyone else other than both him and a GK on loan.
    I think that this has been a poor window for us, thus far and all things considered, but you have to trust BR when he says that we are only going for quality which will make us better.

    I don’t think you read the conversation.

    If we sell Dembele for the figures that is being touted; £20m. If we don’t get in a Striker, a top Striker, with say an conservative estimate of £40m in the Bank if that happens then it’s criminal. The Board would need hounded.
