    Not sure there was ever any real quality we could go out and get that would improve the first 11 and cost under £5mill because it's the Jan window.

    Our board are really frustrating they seem to have this habit of giving new managers for the most part a decent whack of money in their first window and then gradually tell them to go do one.

    At the very least, I know a lot would disagree but given how slow we've been in the third I'd have even been happy seeing Christie being recalled.

    Honestly believe midfield and strikers are fine so if we could somehow pull something out the bag and get in a young, hungry point to prove GK and a full back who can play either side I'd be happy.

    It's also a great way for the player to get attached to club and want to sign permantly something he might not wanted to have done at time of the loan deal

    Goalkeepers are a lot easier to sign especially if it’s a 6 month because there’s a tonne just sitting on the bench at decent clubs.

    Could see us taking Vorm or Gazzaniga from Tottenham on loan.

    We are going to be some side domestically if we sign Musonda, decent new GK , Hendry and get everyone else back fit. Will be some selection headache for the manager.

    Brown , Ntcham , Kouassi , Armstrong, Rogic, Musonda, Mcgregor , Sinclair , Roberts , Forrest , Hayes, Johnston
    all vying for 4-5 midfield positions

    Why would we possibly sign a striker?

    The only reason we should be signing a back up goalkeeper, as well, is if we can't get a first pick over the line in the short time period left in the window. But even that is stretching it because we should have already had irons in the fire.    ​

    Definition of a great window must have changed then...

    We need a first choice keeper, centre back and right back as well as Musonda. Don't need a striker if we have Griffiths dembele and eduoard
