Maybe that 24 million is bein saved for if huns go bust to make up the shortfall. It would be wise to be prudent as no one reallys knows whats up at the shitpit.

Another side of the coin, before paddys loan he'd not have signed for us. Something tells me if we paid what city want he'd actually sign now. You cant help but get attached to the club. He faught to come back here, not go to southampton like pep wanted.

Our main problem is we've been stale in the final 3rd for a wee while now with Roberts and Rogic out it's easy to just double up on Sinclair then we've no other threat at times or runners in behind...hopefully gets addressed though.

I pretty much agree with you regarding the loads deals.

People will say it's try before you buy, but we don't really buy them do we, or the fee is too much.

The part I don't like about the loan deals are we are helping progress another teams player when our on youth get forgotten about.

Second part is the fee and wages it costs us and they just go back to the parent club, we don't
Get a sell on fee ect and the problem is still there because we never filled that position in the first place and we are just putting it off. Like you have stated as well.

Some fans don't see this or care to look at it.

Why do we care what happens to them? We have always been prudent so nothing has changed.

Even if they go bust we will win the league and get into the champions league play offs.

We should be adding quality to the squad not hoarding money for a rainy day.

The point of the loans is to get in a player who needs regular game time to improve, who is of a higher quality than we could afford to buy. It gives back up to other players, as well as competition for places which improves performance.

If he develops at a rapid rate through a 5-10 game spell in the team, it's us who will be laughing as he'll be scoring goals/assisting for us - for not much outlay. 18 months time we either part ways and Chelsea give us another extremely talented players that theyve got hundreds of, or we buy the lad cause they don't require him.

My point still stands, Fee and wages will come to a full transfer and we don't own the player at the end.

Also you mean sign the player like Roberts? Man City clearly does not need him but they still never sold him to us and they would sell to someone else who offered more.

I think Musonda is a great young player with potential but my fear is we will end up just relying on loan players and we don'
    Address the problem.

Appearances can be deceiving! Incase you missed it, I did ask you a question. Do you think hendry will take us up a level? I believe not and if so what's the point in the transfer if he's no better than what we have.

You could be right and if we sign him it could be a pointless signing.

And for the record I want a centre half with more pedigree. Well I'd rather sign a right back if we had to sign just one position for the back line.

But if Brendan Rodgers sees something in this boy I'm not going to be up in arms if we sign him. I think Brendan has earned the right for the benefit of the doubt.

One of the biggest issues that gets up my nose from my EPL supporting friends is Celtic players are assumed not to be good enough because the league we play in. 'He plays in a Mickey Mouse league' 'VVD wouldn't get a game at sunderland' 'Waynama wouldn't make the squad at Stoke' Foster only keeps clean sheets because there's no strikers in Scotland' we have all heard * like this running our club, players and league down.

But we are just as guilty as this when it comes to other SPL in players

Did I think Scott Allen would improve us, no. Did I think Scott McDonald would improve us,no. But I was wrong with McDonald.

I know we have signed the Willo Floods and Chris Killens of this world, but we have also signed the Agathes and Mulgrews off this world from other SPL

Mark Wilson, Paul Hartley, Jackie McNamara and Stuart Armstrong etc etc haven't been the worst career in the hoops either, so judgement is reserved in my book.

I'll be * raging if after all Brendan has said about quality, revolving doors, creativity and how much he has stressed the importance of the Jan window and also our latest injuries in key areas,we end up with Hendry who I've never been impressed by and probably isn't even the best in his position at his current club.

    I.
Surely you must have faith in the managers eyes and judgement ,place a star in a defence who are shipping goals and they will still ship goals ,liverpool springs to mind , it is the system and the team as a whole that will alter that , if you play open attacking football you need pace and energy to recover positions ,commper being the orginiser and experience to this , i feel somewhere in between wot brendan and lenny brought is the key to succsess in europe .

Don’t understand why we sold O’Connell if were interested in Hendry. Thought he was solid

Suppose we will just have to wait and see what the rest of the window brings.
