Last season will never be seen again Invincible Treble and pumped the huns two 5-1s..only natural a slight drop off and injury disruption to squad has not helped either.
couple of signings will soon sort that out though and once everyone is back fit.

 

Jack Hendry ffs!! If this is the reported 'quality' Rodgers is hunting down then * me, what a let down. Seen the player a good few times and he has never ever stood out. Average to good SPL standard, certainly not the required level to take us up a notch. 'Squad filler' springs to mind, everything I thought we were trying to avoid. Ancient CB, 2more projects and another loan. Tut tut Celtic.

 

Charly Musonda Jr on an 18-month loan would be a fantastic signing tbf. Probably be as long if not longer than he'd stay if shows top quality anyway, and it's not like we'd invest any profit we made on him into his replacement.

 

If he's as good as Paddy you cant really complain but honestly these loans never truly sit well with me, especially when you know there's next to no chance of getting them on a permanent but hey I can live with it if you're getting true quality. The rest though are just more projects and squad fillers. They are not these quality signings Rodgers claimed he would only add. That is undeniable and uninspiring in equal measure.

Lets be honest mate,i think Rodgers can spot a player more than anyone on here can,so if its who Rodgers wants,then I'm fully behind him.

 

Ah come on, it's fine to disagree with Rodgers if it's how you honestly feel. Plenty of us have watched Hendry play and been totally unimpressed, that's fine. I don't think Hayes or Gamboa are good signings or of the quality we talk about wanting to bring in. Doesn't mean you're not still in full support of Brendan Rodgers. All managers have hits and misses when it comes to signings.

Fair enough mate, have only seen Hendry play a couple of times so cant really pass judgement, we'll just have to wait and see how this one turns out if it happens.

 

Hopefully we get musonda can't take much more of mcgregor in that position

Let's see the ambition of the board now, hardly an exaggeration to say it's an injury crisis heading into the Zenit games if Gordon, Ralston, Armstrong, Rogic, Roberts, Hayes and Griffiths are all going to be out, Gamboa frozen out of the squad, Sviatchenko & Henderson punted, and Compper ineligible for Europe. And Dembele still linked with a move away.

That's at least 8 squad members unavailable for our next European fixture.

We either accept another European hammering or we heavily invest in this window. Let's just do it for once. No excuses PLEASE.

seems like when someone is close to coming back, there then ruled out for a further 6 weeks!
