Think you need to stop mixing the bristol cream with your meds pal. :icon_mrgreen:

You won't find many people that think Headless chicken Gravesen has been a better buy than Hartley.

aye, i know mate. i just don't understand some fans. how you can say due to goals Gravesen is a better than Hartley?

maybe its because Hartley's 'favoured' position at Celtic isn't the foward one he prefered at Hearts. he plays a deeper role, reads the game superbly, allows the rest of the team to push on and can follow instructions unlike Gravesen.

if you can't see what he adds to the team then your a fool. he has been one of our most consistant performers this season.

Nah Graveson will be lucky to kick another ball for Celtic reserves never mind the first team. I still think we should have given him more of a chance. He was coming good towards the end of last season, I mind him playing brilliantly against Dunfermline and then being dropped by Strach. Yes he has had a few stinkers but so has Masimo Donati and he's had more of a chance to impress than Gravesson ever did. I still dont understand it, that man was amazing in his first spell at Everton. He ran the midfield every game, he maybe wasnt good enough for Madrid but if he had played like that he would have been a Stan Petrov or better for us

P.S Paul Hartley hasnt had a bad game for Celtic all season. Look at the difference since we've went from Brown and Donati to Hartley and Robson

I think any of Brown, Robson or Graveson could play alongside Hartley. If Sno could learn from him, he could be on standby incase of injuries. I wouldn't change the team now though. No time for experiments.

Wrong we never had anything to do with him, MTK loaned him straight to colchester. he was never a Celtic player in any shape or form.

The big difference between everton and us and real is simple. At everton he was employed as a forward thinking midfielder. Both ourselves and real tried to make him defensive and thats where his main flaw became an issue, with gravs was he was totally unable to follow instructions and stick to a strict formation

Hartley didnt read the game so well in the 1st half on Saturday when he stood dreaming as a motherwell midfielder wandered into the box and had a free shot at goal, exactly the kind of thing Donati gets hammered for.

If u look at those last few games tho have we really played any better? we could easily have drawn them all and have bn very lucky over the past few weeks, which admittedly we were long overdue:50:

Dont think its the best midfiled combo long term

Thats cause most people have green-tinted specs when it comes to hartley.

He had a full half season last year and was *. Now all of a sudden he's the midfiled messiah?

    Complete bollocks

He's no better than Donati or Sno
