There's been a few threads on the PLC over the years but not one on a while that looks specifically at how its made up..

Seems to me that a lot of threads become hi- jacked around that very issue especially around this time of year. So it's own thread would be beneficial to the site.

Please do it, would be a good thread.

I think its the evolution of our Club, we primarly got the PLC to get the Kellys out, now the next step is Fan Ownership and that is the only way we can have full transparency and accountability from the fans and for the fans not the stockmarket, shareholders and the massive Capitalists that get rich at our expense.

Both of us have stated this about six or seven times between us in this thread and people are still trying to look for excuses. :56:

Yeah i noticed that Senna didnt come back to me the other night after his comment about using a calculator then i blew his theory out the water.

at the end of the day i have accepted we wont sign anyone else this window for whatever reason.

I dont want to keep going on and on about the accounts either.

Last thing i am saying on it is that the "reserve pot" will increase in the interms and will increase again in the finals.

we can hold the balance sheet up again like a 4th trophy.

Something isnt right with all of this from Celtic, not going to speculate what it could be just a gut feeling.

I dont believe in world football their isnt a No10, CB and winger and possible striker out there that can enhance our first 11.

what is congerton doing if he cant find these guys???

but what is it going to be used for is it

    A Rainy day fund
    Hotel and Museum
    Stadium improvements
    Lennoxtown improvements
    squad enhancement

See no-one at the AGM will be allowed to ask about the reserve funds, Lawwell came out with a statement in 2015 "there isnt a pile of cash stowed away" well ye cant say that now pedro there is £24m stowed away but not to worry you will get yer £2m again this season!

See, this is the thing, mate, the Hotel money is covered… Now, when you take away that in the reserve fund’s and account the van Dijk income we still have around £19m to be exact (post-tax profits as well).

    £24m reserves
    £7.5m VVD deal
    £5m Post-Tax profit

    = £36.5m

    - £18m (Hotel)

    = £18.5m

EDIT; These are conservative numbers as well and some deducations. So, for any one that insinuates theres no money they need medical attention.

I'm not fussed if we don't get another striker in if Dembele' goes.
So long as Griffiths stays fit,A no10./Wide player ,RB and CH are more in need.

There’s something quite hilarious about warmers on internet forums thinking they can do a better job than the likes of Desmond, Lawell etc.

Don’t think it’s a case of anyone saying they can do a better job tbh just stating some facts about areas of team needing strengthening and people discussing financial aspects of the club and putting their views across is that not the who point of Internet forums?

I'm not bothered about getting more signings in apart from not getting in another CB to bed in for next season's cl qualifiers. And I'm guessing that this is not happening as we have not sold on Erik or Jozo. I think signing another would require one of those to go. Can we really justify having those two plus compper, dedrick, ajer plus bitton and lustig and then going out and spending 5m plus for the same position?

I'm hoping that if some team come in with a bid for Jozo then we have a real quality replacement lined up.

Again, the other positions are covered, and, frankly I'd like to see Johnstone getting as much game time as possible as he looks like he could be a player for us.
