He panicks on the ball and his indecision spreads fear through the backline..no threat going forward either...I'd be tempted to go a back 3 for the rest of the season..or until we can get another RB.

At the end of the day, fans are allowed to voice an opinion positively or negative about ANY player on our team whether they are a cult hero or not. Fact is he has been crap for a season and a half now and people on here got upset about it, now it's the same guys on here saying aye he's crap, useless, finished including yourself.


Going to parkhead is a * snooze fest where I'm sitting, watching Lustig pass the ball back to Boyata when he has yards of space in front of him to run and link up with Forrest. His defending is the best part of his game, yet over the past season we see him constantly be the target for opposition players to get in behind. Great servant and seems a sound *, but times up and it was up a long time ago.

Gamboa has to start from now on. Lustig has had it.

 

This is the the thing I find worrying, it's not just that he's lost a bit of pace like you might expect of an older player, he seems like he regressed all round, much less composed, looks visibly panicked on the ball at times and makes an * of basic passing more than he ever has.

His positioning still seems solid enough to make up for a lack of recovery pace defending, but it's crazy how much the rest of his game has been affected this season.

 

Wonder if you defended Ambrose in the same way ? Ambrose was important for us and he got booed off the park against Barcelona in a friendly

Really don't understand Rodgers insistence on playing players he knows are struggling when other options are available.

He said Armstrong had an issue with his hernia in December; yet picked him ahead of Ntcham for the 30th December game against Sevco. Now he says Lustig's struggled for 4-5 weeks, yet played against Brechin & Partick straight after the winter break.

 

I understood it last season, to an extent, but there is little need for it now.
