Edouards only 19 and how the * is he keeping Griffiths out the team . He's not even our player yet keeping seasoned tried and tested pro's out the team cmon Brendan.

Isn't that the most crucial stage to be getting regular games though? Look at Tierney in our team, Martial at Utd, Mbappe at Paris, could name more too. Lad needs opportunities to show he's capable of it.

 

I really hope Brendan can bring in these quality players he's being mentioning recently.

 

We've enough "projects" at the club ..we need a couple of right good quality players to come in here.

 

Kouassi will get the gametime he needs when the manager feels he is good and ready.

Ntcham has already been in the same position through rotation or others playing ahead of him - notably Armstrong and/or McGregor.

You guys really need to cool your jets, he will play when he deserves to play.

Getting a bit tiresome hearing Brendan saying he’s looking for quality that will improve us in Europe over quantity and so on.

So far we’ve signed a 21 year old St Mirren winger and a 32 year old cup tied for Europe, which completely contradicts what he’s saying.

I consider myself to be reasonably patient when it comes to transfers in and out etc but if we end up signing no one of notable quality between now and the rest of the window, I will be very frustrated and feel a bit let down to be honest. We’ve qualified for the CL two seasons in a row, there is no reason why we can’t be actively improving our squad each window.

Interesting that Davies is quoted as saying we could break our transfer record this window and BR has said if Dembele does leave, he will be getting a striker in. Not alot of time to do so unless agreement is in place already if Moussa does move on.

 

Rodgers is at it big time. I don't know how he can sit there moaning about the press asking him about Dembele when he exacerbated things by saying Dembele's had his head turned. Dembele's been linked with moves away since that hat trick against the Huns, but nobody in the fanbase really took it seriously until OUR OWN MANAGER admitted he could leave.

Then you've got Davies saying he wouldn't be shocked if Dembele left this month. So you've got both the manager and his most trusted assistant saying the same thing. Meanwhile you've got Sutton saying Dembele is happy at Celtic and rumours that Celtic and Brighton agreed a fee and Dembele refused to go. Something's up.

I just have this feeling we're trying to sell Dembele for a quick buck for whatever reason. Do you know how hard it is to find a player like Dembele in this market? There's a reason everyone and their mother couldn't believe we'd managed to sign a player of his calibre.

Don't patronise us and say you don't know if he'll go or not. Dembele's either staying or going. One of the two. Because as a fanbase we deserve to be told if he is going considering he's arguably our most important player. Certainly our most valuable asset (KT ain't leaving). And if he is going, then I'd like to see some of that money re-invested in the team for once.

BR was saying there would be a revolving door this window. We've had more outs than ins frankly. Benyu and Erik out on loan, Henderson away to Italy. Okay they weren't important members of the squad but with injuries hitting the team we're suddenly looking light. All we've brought in is Morgan who's still at St Mirren for the rest of the season anyway, and Compper who can't even play in Europe. We play like that first half against Zenit and we'll get ripped to shreds.

He can't seriously be sitting there thinking that defence is good enough. You'd think 12 goals ALONE against PSG would've convinced him of that.

Love BR to death big time. I'm not calling for his head whatsoever. It's just very frustrating right now because we know the team can be performing much better, and I feel the Dembele situation had been handled really poorly.

 

So far Brendan has 5 hits in the transfer market..bringing Patrick Roberts back ..Moussa Dembele'..Kolo Toure'..Scott Sinclair and Olivier Ntcham ......Misses are ...Ddvries..Gamboa..Benyu ...Undecided ..Morgan..Compper ..Hayes..Eboue Kouassi...Eduoard ...we need a couple in this window to hit the ground running in bracket 1.

 

Benyu, Eboue, Morgan, Commper, Eduoard all a bit harsh on.
Gamboa, De vries and Hayes definetely not up to it and a waste of money to be honest. The others are either just here, out on loan, injured, or young player that was never bought in for immediate first team action.

That said, of the players he have brought in, the ones that are geared towards making an immediate impact, have generally worked out well. Why he has signed so many obvious fringe/youth players while he and the board talk about strengthening and bringing in real quality is pretty baffling.
