well i will stick my neck out here and get criticzed for it and think if we dont bring anyone in then i think rogers is off in the summer as theres rumours the arsenal job will be available at the end of the season and why would the board give lots of money to a manager who wont be here in 4 months time and its just my opinion.

No chance this is happening but this would be my wish list-

Lewis Baker in on a permanent deal
Musonda or Twumasi
Roberts on a permanent deal
Finnbogason in if Dembele leaves.
Young experienced quality centre half that isn’t made out of glass.

Ideally would also like a quality goalkeeper who can pass the ball if De Vries isn’t up to it but would settle for a GK joining in the summer.
Right back that can also play left back if Rodgers is going to persist with not giving Gamboa a chance.

 

I honestly can't work out from Rodgers' press conferences whether or not we're even trying to do any business to be honest. I know he gets the same questions over and over in each transfer window but you would have thought he'd be used to that, he just seems particularly defensive this window and defending the indefensible i.e. the defence.

One thing is for sure though, if he isn't backed and the fans kick up * for the level of performances throughout the rest of the season he'll be off to make millions in the EPL pretty sharpish.

 

Things should start to step up in the next week..not many clubs doing business atm even in England.
Bar Huns and they're getting signings in nobody wants.. loanees not getting games.

The problem we have is the poor performances as of late will no doubt be put down to “fatigue” and the need of the winter break by Rodgers and the board when we all know we squad needs investment and some fresh faces.

Many of us called it in December, there will be a lack of signings in this window and hardly, if any money spent on players just like every window.

Celtic have been linked with moves for Rijeka pair Dario Zuparic and Filip Bradaric.

The five-time Croatian champions are willing to sell the duo.

According to reports in Croatia, Celtic are admirers of defender Zuparic and midfielder Bradaric.

Zuparic, 25, is out of contract in the summer, while Bradaric – a 26-year-old defensive midfielder – has a deal that runs until 2020.

Bradaric is a Croatian international with two caps, while his countryman has played for the Under-21 side.

The Balkans is a market the Premiership champions have plundered before and the region represents good value.

It remains to be seen if Brendan Rodgers has the Rijeka duo on list of transfer targets.

But Rodgers could be in the market for another centre-back given Erik Sviatchenko has gone out on loan to Midtjylland, while £1million January signing Marvin Compper faces four weeks out with a calf injury.

Simunovic may yet also be moved on.

We were linked with Finnbogason before and there was a massive thread for him. Everyone was really excited about him joining because he scored 53 goals in 65 games at Heerenveen. The move didn’t happen after all the hype.

It’s nonsense anyway, we have a squad more than capable to handling the amount of games at this level
