He’s given Gordon a new long term deal and De Vries an extension since he’s been here. And giving Hazard a long term deal.

Supposedly rates Hazard very high so I wouldn’t be completely shocked if were waiting for him to take over from Gordon.

When I seen the accounts and seen the cash sitting just over £24m add to that the turnover will be the same this year if not better the am thinking right that’s £30m plus in the pot! He got £13m to spend last season so was expecting similar this season so far over 2 windows he has spent just over £7.5m that’s the VVD money so was hoping he had £15m to play with but just don’t know put it this way what would you rather have £15m worth of talent on the pitch or a hotel/museum!

De Vries is obviously happy with being an understudy. Hazard needs to go out on loan to prove he’s got it, he may well have..

Gordon’s contract secured him and we may even get a fee for him if we sold..

We play a style of football where possession is everything, Gordon has improved that side of his game he’s but he’s still nowhere near good enough..

If BR doesn’t rectify this position we will never achieve our full potential and it will be a serious misjudgment of his reign.

One of the positive aspects about getting rid of Sviatchenko and Henderson, is that it opens up the wage budget slightly more.

The injuries we have highlight a real lack of resilience, signings are needed no doubt..

It wouldnt surprise me if thats it for this transfer window, given how previous windows have went for us. I think if we had targets identified we would have secured them early in the window and taken them to Dubai (as the case with Compper). Unless someone is to become availible at the 11th hour.

That being said its really disappointing that marvin cant play in the europa league.
In any case i hope Ajer can kick on from the performances he has put in so far.

Brendan said he wanted 1 or 2 more in addition to Compper for going to Dubai so you could be right.

Need to make a statement in this window. No more coasting in transfer windows and letting them pass us by, filled with excuses. Spend serious cash and bring in real quality.

We beed to step it up now. We need a number 10 and potentially another centre back even before all the injuries. Goal keeper and right back could have been argued as welll.

If we have Armstrong Roberts and Compper out under the end if Feb (not including regaining form) and Rogic being out until March and then Hayes out for the season. We are fast beconiing short on players as well as quality.

What? We were linked with Ntcham, Hayes, Armstrong, Griffiths, Roberts for ages in the tabloids before actually signing them.

TBH if Caulker has the desire, is fit and comes in with 6 months to prove himself and it doesnt cost the club much in terms of wages then i dont mind that.
