If we get £2-3million for him we'll be lucky.
He's had his day, get rid and give someone who can pass to someone with the same colour shirts on a game.
He's a Championship level player at best and that's all they will pay.

18 months left on his deal, international, young, one of our players of the year last season. I wouldn't be accepting anything less than 10 mil.

I've wanted him gone since he signed that contract. Just don't think he's committed. Hope he is sold and replaced.

10 million would be fantastic business but I don't see there being much substance in this rumour.

I would. He’s worth nowhere near £10 million in current form. Absolutely woeful in his last game against a midfield of Niko * Krancjar and a 19 year old centre back. I’d love it if we got 10 mil but in all truth I’d accept anything over £4 million.

I think we'd do well to get around 3 or 4 mil for him tbh.

Really hope we get as much as £8m for him. Great profit.

People are forgetting £3/4million is nothing nowadays to a lot of teams. EPL teams spending £3/4million would be like us signing Lewis Morgan and Scott Allan for peanuts.

If an EPL team wants a player that should really value them at atleast £8million now.

Strange logic. Every year players are signed by EPL clubs for less than £8 million. We signed Ntcham for £4.5 mil, is Armstrong twice the player? He’s a player with average technical ability and above average stamina.

Doesn't matter, Ross McCormack went for £12million, Steven Naismith I think went to Norwich for £8million and he's a technically inept player with poor ability on the ball. Grant Hanley went for £5million.

If an EPL team wants a Celtic player we'd be making a * of ourselves for selling for less than £8million.

McCormack was consistently scoring goals in the Championship and had just finished runner up in the player of the year awards. Naismith was doing reasonably well in the Premiership, hat tricks against Chelsea etc. Hanley is a diddy so I think that’s just a case of a ridiculously inflated English fee. I could cite City selling Spanish international Nolito for £7.9 million as a retort.

Armstrong has performed well for 8 months of his 3 years at Celtic, has consistently been shown to be out his depth in Europe and is unwilling to commit his long-term future to Celtic, which will be known by any potential suitors. His performances and attitude have been utter dug * all season, £4 million we could reinvest in someone who wants to play for us would represent good business to me.

If he's sold, I don't want him replaced with John * McGinn, I want the finished article who can walk straight into the first team and make a difference!

He wouldnt need replaced; Brown, Ntcham, McGregor and Rogic are all better and are all ours already.

If anything it would give you scope to buy a proper creative playmaker that Rodgers has been shouting for, for a year. Especially if the figures are correct.

I'd definitely have to disagree on McGregor being better than Armstrong.

He is, 100%, a better footballer.

More effective? Jury is out. For me, McGregor every day. His game translates into the Champions League whereas Armstrong completely flounders.

He will rip the English Championship to shreds! He has all the attributes with a winning mentality. He needs to go, but We should want top dollar.
