He's struggling. See him chasing their wide player and having to take a booking in the second half? Look at Tierney's face when he was running back, he was pushing himself to the absolute limit because the guy has nothing left.

As with most of the team this three week break will do them the world of good. A lot of the players haven't had many days of consecutive rest for over a year.

That’s because Sinclair is so ineffective
KT has no rest in games

    Lad needs a rest.
It would also help if there was a bit more competition for his position, some time players can become complacent if they feel they will be on the first team list week in week out.
I also feel he could bulk up a small bit ,he,s young and still developing but id like to see a bit more bulk added.

Overall he,s a really good player going through a rough patch(they all do) anyone saying he,s * or anything like that are talking *.

Terrible performance from him yesterday, and not that uncommon from him this season.

I appreciate he’s still only young, but I don’t think we should be looking to use that as an excuse too often. If he’s deemed good enough to be Celtic’s first choice left back then he’s fair game for criticism when he puts in performances like yesterday, at Tynecastle and in many of the European games this season.

It seems to me that if he’s not launching the ball aimlessly up the park to no one in particular, then he’s playing a backwards pass to his centre half of goalkeeper.

I think we should be looking to sign someone to put him under a bit of pressure and someone who Tierney can learn from.

He’s doing the job of two players down that left hand side, to be fair.

Sinclair’s wing play has been pretty much non-existent this season. He’s always narrow.

Bhoys had the plaudits so is entitled to the criticism as well in saying that he looks as if he's badly in need of a rest

Got to give young players the games but you also can't just treat them as seasoned pros either, they need protected as well need a another left back so he can get competition and a rest when the manager sees him flagging, wouldn't be surprised if he's played through ijuries, teamneedsa rest and maybe offload them that don't want to be here Armstrong, dembele maybe Sinclair, I also think that Sutton's harsh criticism has possible affected the team, he did lay it on thick but this teamaint of the same calibre or cost or experience of O'Neil's team

How much actual rest will the players get do you know ?

They can't get too much or they LL lose fitness a week or 2 with no training them back for full training

Read last night that he's played more game in 2017 than any other player in a top European league, we need to start testing him or he'll burnout and never reach his potential

Including Internationals, Kieran Tierney has played more minutes (3,607) in 17/18 than any other outfield player in any European top tier league. That equates to 40 full matches in 169 days, or 1 game every ~4 days since July. Only Craig Gordon (3,780) has played more minutes.

The 2 outfield players closest to Tierney are Scott Brown (3,220 minutes) and Mikael Lustig (3,137 minutes). Valon Berisha, of Salzburg, is the first non-Celtic player on the list, with 2,984 minutes - 7 games worth less than Tierney has played

Well that will explain both he and lustig drop in form ... Scott Brown for me is a total different animal physically a phenomenon considering his age he has got better as time has went on

Watch that change for Lustig and KT after the break.
