Today’s performance/ result is typical of this season so far , we promise so much but don’t always deliver in the big games . I hope we spend wisely during the transfer window to push on and move to the next level as today’s performance was not good enough .

 

As disappointed as we are, I'm looking from the stats of the game, we had nearly 70% of the ball and had more shots on goal. They may have had chances in the second half, but we should have already been out of sight.

They got lucky today, and even then, still just managed a 0-0, which is celebrated like a Champions League victory. That is their level.

Their defence played high up the pitch and they done well to cut out our out balls.
We hardly got in behind them which is worrying. On the whole we lacked quality in the final third and never took our chances, which is the same that could be said for them.
I felt as if Murty played exactly the way he did last time at CP.

 

Poor second half performance. Hopefully this break will do the players a power of good.
