    Pretty good to have an extra few million coming our way, but like a few others I'm pretty skeptical about it going towards reinvestment. It seems like whenever these situations have occurred before the money has just disappeared into oblivion, or even perhaps a certain CEO's bank balance.

    On selfish terms, it's a bit gutting he's gone to Liverpool. I don't have a lot of time for them as a club (or much of their fanbase), and after Chelsea, they're probably the next team in the EPL with Hunnish persuasions. Even though a lot of fans of both clubs believe there's a Celtic connection...

    One positive aspect to come out of this will be that it can be used to shoot down the deluded EPL fanboys that point to the poor quality of the Scottish Premiership. VVD and Wanyama are perfect responses, even more so after VVD is now officially the world's most expensive defender.

    Anyone seen Sutton on twitter? He quoted some hun from 2 years ago saying Sutton was deluded to think VD was worth 20 million. Poor * suffering the ultimate humiliation now :56:

    The £9.25m is based on it being 15% of the profit from a sell on, so £75m - £13m(ish). 15% of £62.5m to £63m works out around £9.25m. The problem is no one really knows if it actually is 10% or 15%, or whether it is based on the full transfer value or the profit from it (personally I suspect it will be from the profit). We could end up with anything between £6.2m and £9.3m.
